If you’ve seen our presentation on The Firmament, you know there are numbers and signs contained in the two greatest bodies we see in the heavens, the Sun and the Moon, relating to their diameters in relation to the two great structures in God’s Word, Noah’s Ark and the Ark of the Covenant. These contain measures only the Creator could have known from the very foundation of creation. These two heavenly bodies will be the stars of a great show coming soon!

Signs of the End…
In Luke 21:11 Jesus said at the time of the end there would be “great signs from heaven” and again in 21:25 “…there shall be signs in the Sun and in the Moon and in the Stars…” The Prophet Amos says in 8:9, “And it shall come to pass in that Day, says the LORD, that I will cause the Sun to go down at noon and I will darken the earth in the clear day…”
Isaiah 30:26 says this: “Moreover the Light of the Moon shall be as the Light of the Sun, and the Light of the Sun shall be sevenfold, as the Light of seven days, in the Day that the LORD binds up the breach of His people and heals the stroke of their wound.”
In the Book of Revelation 3:21, Jesus promised this: “To him that overcomes I will grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I overcame and am set down with my Father in His throne.” What we will see is the Moon sitting in the throne of the Sun sharing its corona, or crown.
A Repeat Performance
Twenty six years ago on July 11, 1991, I was a witness to this very sign, called at that time, “The Great Eclipse” and it was absolutely spectacular! All those who saw it that day would agree with me. Now once again, America will be privileged to a double portion and able to witness this so-called “Great American Eclipse” when a total eclipse of the Sun will sweep across America on August 21, 2017.
In the Beginning… “God made two great Lights; the Greater Light to rule the Day and the Lesser Light to rule the Night and the Stars also. And God set them in the Firmament of Heaven to give Light upon the Earth…” Gen 1:16-17
This event will be the most watched, most photographed, most written about, most shared heavenly sight in the history of mankind! Via the internet, the whole world will see it! But indeed America, it belongs to you! For as it says in Hosea, I will call them My people, which were not My people… And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said to them you are not My people, there it will be said to them, You are the children of the living God.” Jeremiah 31:9 says “…for I am a Father to Israel and Ephraim is My firstborn.” If you will follow on to learn the Word of God, you will find that Jacob’s son Joseph had two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh and that the blessing and birthright of Jacob, Israel, was given to Ephraim. And it will be shown that Manasseh is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ephraim is the United States of America as he said, “Let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth… truly his younger brother shall be greater than the elder… and he set Ephraim before Manasseh.” We know by the Declaration of Independence that America is Britain’s “younger brother.”
Moses said to the children of Israel: “…if you will seek the LORD your God, you shall find Him, if you seek Him with all your heart and all your soul. When you are in tribulation, and all these things come upon you, even in the latter days, if you turn to the LORD your God and will be obedient to His Voice, He will not forsake you, …neither forget the Covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.” Deu 4:26-31
God’s promise to Abraham: “And He brought him forth outside and said, ‘Look now toward heaven and count the stars, if you’re able to number them, and He said to him, So shall your seed be.’” Is it just a strange coincidence that all the states of the union are represented as stars on the American flag?
The Trumpet shall Sound…

As the Sun and Moon naturally rise in the east and set in the west, the eclipse will actually rise in the west and set in the east as it will start on the west coast of Salem, Oregon and travel across the US to its end at the east coast. It will reach its peak about noon in Wyoming. This is a very exciting event and will be a sign unto God’s people, Israel, that the end has come and the time for their return to Him is NOW.
As He says in Joel, “Blow the Trumpet in Zion sanctify a fast and call a solemn assembly: gather the people, sanctify the congregation… Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for He will cause the rain to come down for you… And I will show wonders in the heavens… The sun will be turned into darkness and the Moon into blood just prior to that great and dreadful Day of the LORD. And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall call upon the Name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD has said and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.”
“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads, for your redemption draws near.” Luke 21:28
Matthew 24, which also pertains to the signs of the end, says this: “In the midst of the Tribulation of those days the Sun shall be darkened and the Moon shall not give his Light… and then shall appear the sign of the Son of Adam in heaven; and they shall see the Son of Adam coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send forth his angels with the sound of a great trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
