Prophecy Weekly: March 18-24, 2018

Prophecy Weekly HeaderThis week’s Prophecy Weekly covers protests throughout the world.  In the US and beyond, students are protesting gun violence.  Meanwhile, in Poland, people are protesting additional restrictions proposed to abortion laws and France has trade unions protesting against proposed government changes.

“And there shall be… upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring (protests).”  Luke 21:25

These protests are all targeting violence and human rights.  On the other hand, another group protesting law changes this week stands out from the crowd.  The Catholic Church is protesting against laws in New York and Alabama that would allow abuse victims to come forward even though the statute of limitations for the crimes committed against them has expired.  The church is worried about their money as well as their continued degradation of their reputation.  This organization was written about in Romans 1.  You are encouraged to check it out for yourself!

War and Violence

In other news, the Iraq War has reached the 15 year anniversary.  This war is still going on, yet it is rarely covered in the news.  At the same time, the US annual budget has been approved at $1.5trillin dollars.  There is a specific increase in military spending.  War and violence are not limited to oversees.  Another school shooting occurred in the US in Maryland.  God destroyed the earth the first time due to violence!
