This isn’t the only conflict going on. The war in Ukraine continues, Pakistan and Afghanistan are fighting and wars continue on the African continent. Meanwhile, extreme weather around the time of the vernal equinox broke record high temperatures, record rainfall and late season snow storms. The world is in a state of tribulation.
“And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you are not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
Matthew 24:6-8
The following map is a summary of current events related to prophecy. Below the map you will find the event details and relevant Scriptural references. Many people have been taught God’s Word in the past tense. This is incorrect. The teachings and scenarios in the Bible and God’s Word are all prophetic, pointing to a future time, and that time is now.

No Peace in the Middle East
“…they have seduced My people, saying, Peace; and there is no peace…”
Ezekiel 13:10
“But in his estate/place shall he honor the god of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.”
Daniel 11:38-39
Iran

The Iran war has gone on now for over a month. Thirteen US service members have been killed and over 200 are injured from the conflict. What was a war between Israel and Iran and the US and Iran has expanded. The Houthi’s are targeting Israel from Yemen, Hezbollah is fighting from Lebanon and Kurds stand ready to join the battle in support of the US and Israel from Iraq. The primary impact to the world has been the closure of the straight of Hormuz, a major trade route through the Middle East. Twenty percent of the world’s crude oil traverses this route. Iran is successfully keeping the waterway closed even with significant loss of top leaders and military equipment.
There have been talks of ceasefire negotiations with Trump saying ‘They are negotiating, by the way, and they want to make a deal so badly, but they’re afraid to say it because they figure they’ll be killed by their own people… they’re also afraid they’ll be killed by us.’ Iran’s response was they would ‘end the war when it decides to do so and when its own conditions are met.’ After Trump said Iran was negotiating and that there are ‘major points of agreement’ Iran responded that ‘no talks with the U.S. have taken place.’ How will these two countries agree on details of a ceasefire if they can’t even agree if the ceasefire talks have actually taken place?
No Fly Zone
President Trump reached out to allies for military support, but with limited response. In fact, many European countries consider the war illegal and are distancing themselves from any involvement including the use of their airspace. Both Italy and Spain have directly denied or closed their airspace to the US military. In response, the Trump administration said it is considering whether involvement with NATO would continue in the future. Countries in the direct line of fire such Qatar and Saudi Arabia have so far taken a similar stance. Even though missiles have directly hit their energy infrastructure, the Arab states have still only taken a defensive approach to the conflict.
Australia did respond to a request made by the US and the United Arab Emirates for support. They are sending aircraft and missiles to ‘protect and defend’ civilians, but not to engage offensively with Iran. Likewise, France and the UK are defending Middle Eastern countries like Qatar and NATO countries such as Cyprus. British fighter jets intercepted Iranian-made drones targeting Cyprus which had been launched from Lebanon.
In the US, one role of Congress is to declare a war. Congress voted in March against requiring this vote leading many to then ask, ‘What is the role of Congress?’ They have negated their role as the voice of the people.
While the war continues, the political fallout from increased gas prices has led to a change of heart with the Trump administration regarding sanctions on Russia and unbelievably Iran itself. Russia is profiting from countries previously prevented from purchasing their oil such as India, as a result of the Iran war.
“Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goes therein shall not know peace.”
Isaiah 59:7-8
Less Public Media, More State Propaganda
Drones and missiles have landed in many Middle Eastern countries including tourist destinations. In the United Arab Emirates (UAE) 20 people including a British tourist have been charged with a cyber-crime for posting videos and photos of Iranian missile attacks recorded with their phones. The UAE laws ‘prohibit sharing material that could disturb public security’ and ‘that may incite public opinion.’ Penalties for this vaguely defined law include up to two years in prison and fines.
Meanwhile, US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth took time from his warmongering to berate journalists for downplaying the US success in the Iran war. At a press conference he provided alternative news headlines that would focus on Iran’s failures and US successes. One example he suggested is instead of reporting ‘Mid East War intensifies’ the headline should read ‘Iran increasingly desperate.’ He wants ‘an actual patriotic press.’ He made these comments on the same day the military confirmed six crew members died when the refueling plane they were operating crashed in Iraq. How do you spin that as a positive news story?
Hegseth called out CNN specifically for reporting the Trump administration was not prepared for the closure of the Straight of Hormuz. Even without inside sources it’s hard to not come to that conclusion. Trump’s strategy of threatening Iran with more destruction has yielded little results. Two weeks after Hegseth’s media comments Trump told reporters regarding keeping the strait open, ‘That’s not for us… That’ll be for whoever’s using the strait.’ In other words, someone else can clean up the mess they’ve made. Except this mess has so far taken the lives of 13 Americans, impacted the lives of citizens around the world and is costing the US about $1billion per day.
Propaganda War
The US military has a psychological operations unit (PSYOP) that operates mostly within the Army division of the military. In March, all US embassies and consulates were instructed by Mark Rubio, the Secretary of State, to work alongside this group to ‘address the problem of rampant disinformation.’ The goals are ‘countering hostile messaging, expanding access to information, exposing adversary behavior, elevating local voices who support American interests, and promoting what it calls ‘telling America’s story,’ Specifically recruiting ‘local influencers’ and leaders is encouraged so the communications ‘appear to be locally organic.’
“… they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not Me, says the LORD. Take you heed every one of his neighbor, and trust you not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbor will walk with slanders. And they will deceive every one his neighbor, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.”
Jeremiah 9:3-5
Israel
Israel’s Iron Dome defense system has protected it’s citizens from many missiles and drones, but not all. Iran has been using cluster warheads, a weapon that is harder to shoot down. At least nineteen have been able to pass through Israel’s defenses which then drop hundred of ‘bomblets’ or smaller bombs. As a result, several Israeli citizens have died and hundreds have been injured from Iran’s attacks.
Lebanon
Israel has made significant advances into Southern Lebanon as it battles Hezbollah. They plan to seize parts of southern Lebanon for a new 20 mile wide defensive buffer between the two countries.
Pakistan and Afghanistan
The war between Pakistan and Afghanistan rages on even though the conflict has been overshadowed by the Iran war. The two countries took a two-day pause in fighting in recognition of the end of Ramadan celebrations. Interestingly, Pakistan has been one of the primary countries proposing Iran war peace agreements, but gives no indication of stopping their own war against the Taliban in Afghanistan. Four hundred people were killed when Pakistan carried out an airstrike against a Kabul hospital for drug addicts. When will the world learn not to war anymore?
“And it shall come to pass in the last days… many people shall come and say, ‘Come, and let us go up to the Mountain of the LORD, to the House of the God of Jacob and He will teach us of His ways, … and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.”
Isaiah 2:2-4
Ukraine – Russia War
Russia and Ukraine continues to lob drones at each other destroying more lands, buildings and lives. An aerial attack with almost 1,000 drones from Russia killed as least seven in what is being called a springtime offensive.
Drone Experts
Ukraine is sharing it’s drone expertise with five countries in the Middle East. According to Zelensky the Ukrainian officials are there to ‘provide expert assessments and are helping build a defense system.’ The Middle East war is quickly drawing in representatives from around the world. It should come as no surprise that Russia is reportedly assisting Iran with ‘advanced drone tactics’ and intelligence. The Ukraine-Russia war has bubbled over into the Middle East.
“The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”
Genesis 6:11-13
Wars and Tribulation in Africa
Nigeria
Raids and abductions continue in Nigeria. In March raids by gunman from the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) were carried out against military bases in Nigeria. Sixty-five soldiers were killed and over 300 people, mostly civilians were abducted. The US targeted IS militants with airstrikes in December. They followed up those actions by sending 200 soldiers to Nigeria to train the Nigerian Armed Forces this past February. US military support continues to escalate in Nigeria. This March the US deployed reaper drones in Nigeria to ‘provide training and intelligence.’
Sudan
Sudan’s civil war continues with drone attacks on civilians and raids on villages. Twenty-eight civilians perished when strikes hit a market and a truck in one day. Earlier in the month, over sixty were killed when drones hit a hospital in East Darfur. A secondary school and health care center were also hit by a drone, taking the lives of seventeen civilians, mostly schoolgirls.
In South Sudan a village was raided by opposition forces killing over 160 people. In response the UN is sheltering at least 1,000 people at one of their bases.
Violence in the Caribbean and South America
Haiti
Violence in Haiti has continued to escalate in 2026. An estimated 26 different gangs are active in the capital alone. According to the UN, the gangs have been able to ‘fortify strategic corridors and maintain dominance over critical maritime and overland routes that sustain their financing and operational resilience.’ The UN has a task force made up of at least 5,000 ‘peacekeepers’ in addition to private US military security forces carrying out operations against the gangs. An estimated 1.4 million people in a country with a population just under 12 million, have already fled the violence. In March over 70 people were killed in one massacre by gangs against a region of Haiti known as their breadbasket.
Cuba
In January the US implemented an oil embargo on Cuba. As a result, a humanitarian crises has developed as hospitals and businesses operate with limited to no electricity from recurring power grid failures and nationwide blackouts. At the end of March, Trump partially ‘relaxed’ the oil embargo when a Russian oil tanker was allowed to transport crude oil to the country. A spokesman for the Kremlin said, ‘Russia considers it it’s duty not to stand aside, but to provide necessary assistance to our Cuban friends.’
Meanwhile, the Trump administration has been negotiating with the Cuban government for a regime change. The goal of the embargo has been to put pressure on the existing government. Rare protests in Cuba have occurred in response to the embargo and according to Trump, ‘Cuba is finished. They have a bad regime. They have a very bad and corrupt leadership and whether or not they get a boat of oil, it’s not going to matter…’
Ecuador
New military operations are being carried out in Ecuador, but little details have been given regarding the operations targeting drug trafficking. US Southern Command announced they have joined forces with Ecuador, but declared the operations as classified.
Meanwhile, at least one more ‘drug boat’ with six people on board was destroyed in the Eastern Pacific.
Praying for Peace Violence
The trump administration continues to mix their worship practices with violence. A so-called ‘Christian’ worship service was held at the Pentagon during which Hegseth repeated a prayer spoken to troops prior to the invasion of Venezuela and the capture of Maduro. He prefaced the prayer by saying it applied now with troops in the Middle East. Did he pray for peace and an end to the violence? No. He prayed God would give ‘overwhelming violence of action against those who deserve no mercy’ and that God would ‘let justice be executed swiftly and without remorse that evil may be driven back and wicked souls delivered to the eternal damnation prepared for them.’
These conflicts are not the war of the righteous. This is the wicked, warlike and violent of the earth destroying each other.
Hegseth prefaced the prayer with a quote from Pslam 18. He read Psalm 18:37-42, but he neglected to continue to verse 47.
“It is God that avenges me, and subdues the people under me. He (God!) delivers me from my enemies: yes, You lift me up above those that rise against me: you have delivered me from the violent man.”
Psalm 18:47-48
“There is no king (ruler/government) saved by the multitude of an host (army/military): a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. An horse (armored for war) is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. …Our soul waits for the LORD: He is our help and our shield.”
Psalm 33:16-20
“I will turn your feast into mourning”
“And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD God… I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.”
Amos 8:9-10
Closed for Worship
In Jerusalem, the al-Aqsa mosque, the dome of the rock, The Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Wailing Wall all sit within or near the same complex. This spring, Israeli authorities closed the entire site due to security concerns with the ongoing war. Muslims were prohibited from marking the end of Ramadan at the al-Aqsa mosque and Catholics were prohibited from celebrating Palm Sunday a the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. An international outcry to the closure led Israel to permit a limited group of people to visit the Wailing Wall on Passover and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre on ‘Good’ Friday and Easter / Ishtar.
Ramadan
This year, over 20 people were killed in Nigeria when suicide bombings at a post office, market and university disrupted the holiday known as Iftar and turned it into a time of mourning. Iftar is the breaking of the fast during the month-long Ramadan holiday.
Catholic Church Scandals
‘Saint’ Chavez?
A sexual abuse scandal regarding Cesar Chavez dominated headlines in March. At a time when many previously recognized the co-founder and president of the United Farm Workers union on ‘Cesar Chavez Day,’ cities were making an about face. Some canceled events, changed the name to something focused on farm workers or removed statues of the labor union leader. If only the same outrage would erupt over the Roman Catholic Church Sexual Abuse Scandal. Chavez was ‘a devout Catholic‘ and in the past, ‘many people have tried to open up a cause for his sainthood.’
Nationwide Abuse Victims
The ongoing worldwide sexual abuse scandal within the Roman Catholic Church has impacted millions of children, yet still receives limited national and international press. Here are just a sample of local reports from March.
In the US, the Louisiana archdiocese is where one of the first reports of clergy sexually abusing children occurred in the mid-1980’s. The abuse of children has not stopped. In March, a 37-year old priest was charged with indecent behavior with a 15-year old. Keep in mind that this priest wasn’t even born in the mid-1980’s, so we have a whole new generation of pedo’s.
A US bishop was arrested in San Diego and charged with embezzlement and money laundering. He has also been accused of visiting a brothel and sexual misconduct. He was ‘not forced to resign’ but voluntarily submitted his resignation which Pope Leo accepted.
In Georgia the ‘Georgia Clergy Sexual Abuse Bill‘ passed into law. This adds clergy to the list of ‘authority figures’ who are subject to ‘the same criminal standards as any other professional in charge of minors or vulnerable adults.’ Previously, there was a loophole to the laws where clergy were ‘using the pulpit’ as a ‘legal shield.’
Bankruptcy Protection?!
In Albany, New York the Archdiocese has agreed to pay $148 million for claims of sexual abuse to more than 400 people. Albany is one of many Archdiocese that has filed for bankruptcy due to sexual abuse of children by their clergy. Bankruptcy protection for a criminal organization? Man’s laws protect the wicked but God’s LAW protects the righteous.
In Rhode Island where 40% of the population is Catholic, the results of a ‘sprawling investigation’ into the sexual abuse of minors carried out by Catholic clergy found 300 victims. The investigators considered the number of victims to likely be much higher. Out of the 75 priests found to have carried out the molestation, three are awaiting trial.
Victims from around the World
Meanwhile, in Spain the Roman Catholic Church and the government have signed an agreement regarding compensation to sexual abuse victims. More than 200,000 children are believed to have been victims of the clergy of the Catholic Church. That victim estimate increases to 400,000 people if lay people associated with the church are included as abusers. Likewise, Portugal has agreed to pay $1.85 million to 57 sexual abuse victims. This is only a fraction of the 4,815 victims found by a commission in 2023.
In Germany, one Archdiocese now has 210 clerics accused of committing abuse against minors. There have been at least 489 victims of sexual assault from 1941 to 2002.
In Jamaica a Catholic Priest was sentenced to 12 years in prison for abusing a minor. This is one of the few cases where actual prison time has resulted from these heinous crimes.
Again, this is just a sample of local stories from March addressing the worldwide child sexual abuse crime network known as the Roman Catholic Church.
“In the seventh week there will come priests; idolaters, adulterers, money lovers, arrogant, lawless, voluptuaries, pederasts, those who practice bestiality.”
Testament of Levi 17:11
“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you are like unto whited sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.”
Matthew 23:27-28
Tribulation
“Behold, the day of the LORD comes, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and He shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it… And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible… Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of His fierce anger.”
Isaiah 13:9-13
Globalization Tribulation
“For then (at the end) shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”
Matthew 24:21-22
Globalization or the ‘interdependence and integration among the economies, markets, societies and cultures of different countries worldwide’ has resulted in big profits for corporations, but also big impacts to countries far away from a regional conflict. The Iran war and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz has put a spotlight on the downsides of globalization.
Asia & Australia
Within just a few weeks of the start of the Iran war, the Philippines, a country of over 100 million people, has declared a National Energy Emergency. Almost all of their oil comes from the Middle East. In New Zealand, nearly 150,000 families will start receiving weekly cash payments to help offset the rising price of fuel. Australian citizens are also being encouraged to work from home and limit their fuel purchases. One Australian senator proposed a 25% export levy on gas producers ‘to redirect wartime profits’ from corporations to citizens. In Thailand, air conditioning use is being limited. In Vietnam, officials are urging employees to work from home.
Many countries have already started to dip into their national oil reserves including the US and Japan. The Japaneses release will be the biggest-ever release of oil from its strategic reserves, which is expected to cover 45 days of the country’s demand. Over 90% of Japan’s crude oil is imported from the Middle East. The oil is not just processed into fuel for cars and trucks, but manufacturing facilities depend heavily on crude derived energy. In Japan, citizens were urged not to hoard toilet paper even though 97% of toilet paper for Japan is made in Japan.
The US has minimal imports from the Middle East, but has chosen to also release oil from reserves in an attempt to bring down the prices at the pump. For now, fuel prices have seen the most immediate impacts, but globalization means food, fertilizer and everyday household goods are made in a country half-way around the world from where they are used. Increased fuel prices will result in an increase in the costs of all goods that travel long distances.
Protests
No Kings
A third ‘No Kings’ nation-wide protest was held at the end of March, drawing an estimated 7 million people. This time, citizens came out to protest immigrant deportations but also the proposed Voter ID act (SAVE) and the US military actions in the Middle East.
National Energy Emergency
As addressed above, almost all crude oil imports into the Philippines come from the Middle East. With the region locked in a war, supply issues have impacted the entire country. A two-day nationwide transport strike in the Philippines was in response to a 60% increase in fuel costs. In addition, the Philippines declared a National Energy Emergency due to the impacts of the war in Iran. The President of the Philippines announced at the end of the month that alternative supply sources have been secured through June, including at least one shipment from Russia.
“And there shall be… upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring (protests).”
Luke 21:25
Extreme Weather
Fire and Ice
The Western United States experienced July-like weather in March. The West’s ‘Heat Dome’ traveled from California to the East breaking temperature records in over 180 cities.
Meanwhile, a ‘Monster snowstorm’ dropped almost 3 feet of snow int he Midwest.
Over 500,000 homes and business lost power during storms that spanned from the Midwest to the south. Earlier in the month, tornadoes killed two people in Indiana and eight people in Michigan and Oklahoma.
Red Skies and Black Rain
The skies above parts of Western Australia were turned blood red in March. Winds generated by an approaching cyclone created a dust storm filled with iron-rich earth resulting in the unprecedented red color!
Meanwhile, Iran experienced black rain after oil facilities were hit by airstrikes from Israel and the US. Toxic smoke lifted particulates into the air which then fell in the form of dark and oily rain.
Floods
Speaking of rain, fifty inches of rain caused flooding in Hawaii and evacuations associated with a potential dam failure. Two storms caused the deluge that led one farmer to state, ‘I’ve never seen anything like it.’ The damage to farms, residents homes and infrastructure has been estimated at $1billion dollars. For perspective this is equivalent to one days worth of US military activities in Iran. Where would you want your tax dollars to go?
Look Up!
The Light of the Moon
In March we observed a Total Lunar Eclipse which means a Blood Moon! Totality lasted just under one hour during which the moon was turned to blood, a great sign in the heavens, but a sign of what? Read this article to learn more.
On the first day of April, there was another full moon, but this time it was the Passover Moon. Read this article to consider the Light of the Moon.
Caught in Unawares
“And take heed to yourself, lest at any time your hearts are overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness1“The serpents are the leaders of the peoples and their wine is their ways.” DD 3:19, and cares of this life, and so that day comes upon you in unawareness. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. You watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be able to escape all these things that shall come to pass and to stand before the Son of Adam.”
Luke 21:34-36
