You may have thought 2026 would start off nice and quiet. A new year full of peaceful possibilities. You would be mistaken. Instead, there has been a constant churning from one breaking news story to the next. Often the story flips from talks of peace, then war and back to peace. Meanwhile, some prophetic events passed on by without notice. Here is a just a sample of the news events covered in more detail below.

January Prophetic News Highlights

What do people do when the world is in a constant state of flux and tribulation? As you will see below, in January they either turned to their idols to pray for peace or took to the streets in protest. The world’s tribulation is a fulfillment of God’s prophecy. Neither of these actions, praying to idols or protesting, is how one looks to God for His Will. Neither will bring peace or stability.

“For then (at the end of the age) shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”

Prophecy Monthly – December 2025

Wars, rumors of wars, violence and tribulation dominated the headlines in December. During a month when many sing about ‘joy on earth,’ there was anything but joy. This month we look at escalations in South America, Africa and the Middle East. At the same time the drums-of-war beat louder, superficial name changes scream hypocrisy. Meanwhile, several ‘holidays’ ended in tragedy turning feast days into mourning. As 2025 came to an end, many spoke about peace, but actions indicate 2026 will be a year of expanding wars.

“And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you are not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.”

Prophecy Monthly – November 2025

More ceasefires ceased to hold this November. Ceasefires between Pakistan and Afghanistan as well as Thailand and Cambodia were broken. Bombings and airstrikes disrupted the peace. It has been one year since the ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel was agreed to, yet the fighting has not stopped. Israel has carried out over 650 airstrikes in Lebanon since the ceasefire. Airstrikes continue in the Caribbean, Gaza, Russia, Ukraine and Africa. Trump considers adding Nigeria to the list of countries the US military turns to with ‘guns a blazing.’

While all this is going on, the Pope took his first oversees trip to visit the birthplace of modern day Roman Catholic Doctrine. He met with other religious leaders and heads of governments to celebrate a 1700-year old lie. Read below to learn more.

Prophecy Monthly – October 2025

Celebrate the ceasefire! You better do it quickly because the firing didn’t cease for long. October started with accolades and celebrations of a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. A few weeks later over100 were killed in one night alone. Trump has touted all the wars he has brought to an end, but it’s time to start a count of the wars he is starting. For example, look to the Caribbean. The US sent an aircraft carrier to the Caribbean signaling a massive escalation of military activity by the US government.

At the same time, a US government shutdown cut off services to millions of Americans. Meanwhile, in the UK, the ‘vision’ for the digital ID is starting to form and you better brush up on the Book of Revelation, because digital ID’s look exactly like the Mark of the Beast. If you don’t get a digital ID, you could be ‘cut off’ just like those 42 million American’s cut off from SNAP benefits. Prophecy Monthly – September 2025

September was a month where leaders blatantly ignored God’s Word and guidance for how to live on His planet. Several news stories were covered as stand alone topics, but are actually quite intertwined with each other and the big picture of God’s Prophecy.

A Department of Defense name change at the beginning of the month and a gathering of military leaders on the last day of September focused on war. Meanwhile, a UK State Visit attended by Trump and corporate leaders in artificial intelligence and technology preceded a huge announcement in the UK. Those in high places are chugging along on a well planned out agenda that goes directly against God’s directive to learn war no more and to let His People go!
