October was a month of anticipation. As the month before the divisive US election, the two US candidates dominated the news. But what else happened? October is the start of the pagan ‘Holiday’ season with Halloween leading the way. There was the much-talked about anticipation for a cease-fire in Gaza which again failed to materialize.
