The year 2020 has been one for the record books. Pre-Covid, the divide between the “haves and have-nots” reached it’s greatest disparity in fifty years. A few months into a world-wide pandemic and that gap has already increased. Billionaire’s wealth has ballooned over 20% in just three months. Meanwhile, the impact of record unemployment and isolation is just beginning to manifest. There has been an increase in ‘deaths of despair’ such as suicides and overdoses. An increase in evictions and poverty are predicted to reach unprecedented levels.
Consider that among the “G-7” nations, the US has the greatest economic inequality, yet it is one of the richest countries in the world. What is going on?! How did the few in power come to control all the wealth? Incredibly, we were warned that this division would happen! The pandemic has become a means to accelerate this economic inequality and iniquity exponentially. Let’s look to God’s Word to learn more.
“He that oppresses the poor to increase his riches, and he that gives to the rich, shall surely come to want (poverty – nothing).”Proverbs 22:16
Rulers to Wax Rich
To start, let’s review this scenario with Samuel, the high priest or judge of his day. As Samuel was nearing his death, the people asked for a king to be put over them. They did not want a judge or one knowledgeable in God’s Law. Samuel knew this was not right, but he turned to God anyways to relay the request. This was God’s response.
“And the Lord said to Samuel, Hearken to the voice of the people in all that they say to you: for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them….Now therefore hearken to their voice: howbeit protest solemnly to them, and show them the manner of the king that shall reign over them.”1 Samuel 8:7-9
See if this sounds familiar…
“And he said, This shall be the manner of the king (ruler or leader) that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots (armored for war), to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots (infantry)… he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants. And he will take the accumulation (making himself rich) of your seed (grain), and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants. He will wax rich from the tribute from your sheep (flock- of men): and you shall become his servants. And you shall cry out in that day because of your king (leader) which you shall have chosen (elected); but the Lord will not hear you in that day.”1 Samuel 8:11-18
War and Profit
The people rejected God and His ways, and insisted they have a king or ruler. The rulers would not rule with God’s judgement and Laws in mind. Instead, these rulers rule to ‘wax rich’, take all that the people produce and use the resources and people for war and profit. And then we have this in Daniel…
“Now I am come to make you understand what shall befall your people in the latter days: for the vision is for days yet to come.”Daniel 10:14
“And in his (the beast’s) estate (place) shall stand one being contemptible, to whom they shall not give the honor of the kingdom: but he shall come in (invade) in the name of security (peace, prosperity) and he will seize the dominion through intrigues (lies)… he will work deceitfully… and become powerful with a few (small number of people)… and the booty (loot) and wealth will he divide up among them (those few)… and arms (armed forces or weapons) shall stand on his part and they shall pollute the temple and shall take away the daily wages, and they shall place the abomination that makes desolate.”Daniel 11: 21-31
Daniel was shown a vision of a beast that sounds similar to that ruler Samuel was warned about. Again, the beast will work deceitfully for the powerful with a few, obtaining the wealth for themselves and is war-like.
The vision continues…
“And the king (ruler) shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself… and shall prosper until the indignation (of God) is accomplished…in his estate (place) he shall honor the god of forces (weapons): a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.”Daniel 11:36-38
Iniquity Shall Abound
Next, skip ahead to the time of Jesus. Jesus had this to say when asked by his disciples what the indications of the end of the age would be. He answered;
“And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars… nation shall rise against nation…there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in divers places… many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many and because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. … When you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place…”Matthew 24:6-25
Daniel learned about an abomination that makes desolate and Jesus pointed to it as an indication of the end of the age. Next, John wrote in Revelations about a future time when there will be “the beast”, not a wild animal, but an entity with specific traits.
“And… they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”Revelations 13:4
Who is able to make war with him? Take a look at the countries with the greatest defense spending budgets. The US defense budget eclipses the next 10 defense budgets combined for 2020! John continues in Revelations with this:
“…he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that has the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of man/humans; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”Revelations 13:16-18
A Marked Man
Take a look in your pantry. Every item you purchase has a barcode on it. Even your bottle of water has a barcode. Every barcode has three sets of sixes represented by standard line patterns to denote the start, middle and end of the barcode. On a square QR code, the three corner boxes are your sixes which indicate to the scanner the orientation of the bar code. Everything you buy and sell has a barcode. It is marked so that it can be tracked and accounted for. Now what if you, the buyer, also had a barcode. Now you would be marked by that number issued to you by your government. This is a way to connect your finances, health records including vaccination status, driving record and even “good behavior” all to a number identifying you.
The barcode is designed for electronic transactions and records, therefor that barcode itself is not a physical tattoo on your forehead, but issued through electronic or digital means. Remember, “that no man might buy or sell, save he that has “the mark.” That mark will be the determining factor of your ability to buy and sell in society.
Want a preview of what is to come? Look no further than China and the video clip above. The Coronavirus is becoming the reason to quickly expand tracking tools into everyday work, school, travel, buying and selling. Amazing! If you choose not to accept it and use it, you will be cut off from the economy, making you financially desolate.
Those few rulers in control of the finances and proposed ‘immunity passports‘, have become those rulers described to Samuel, Daniel and John. The rulers have not turned toward God, but toward profits. The economic inequality we see today is evidence that they rule for profit and control instead of righteousness and compassion. Vice President Pence called Covid-19 the ‘invisible enemy’. Covid-19 is the next war that will be used to further divide the haves and have-nots, even beyond what we have already seen. It is prophecy in the making… or marking.
