On April 5th, 2023 people around the world will remember the Passover. In the time of Moses, God’s wrath passed over the Israelites but not their oppressors the Egyptians. This led to the exodus out of Egypt. One aspect of the timing of Passover is that it coincides with a full moon! God said there will be signs or indications in the moon. With that, we look to the indications in the moon relating to the very first Passover and the next one to come in God’s time, not next week.
“And God said, Let there be lights in the Firmament of the Heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years.”
The month of ‘March’ is named after Mars, the Roman god of war, which is madness in itself. The Romans have always been a war-like people. The original Roman calendar began with the month of March. Beginning with Spring, it is the time when they could all go out and begin fighting each other again. It was March Madness!

January is named for the Roman god, Janus; February for a Roman festival of purification. These were added later when the calendar underwent another reformation. The way they keep changing times and dates is sheer madness!
Throughout the book of Genesis, the recorded lifespans of people are much greater than they are today. Methuselah being the oldest recorded at 969 years (Gen 5:27). This is a major point of contention for those who consider that today, living to be 100 years old is quite an accomplishment. However, there is purpose in everything in God’s Word, even if at first, you don’t understand it.
When things are put in a strange way, we should stop, take notice, and ask questions. This is one of the intentions of allegory and what are sometimes viewed as inconsistencies in God’s Word. They draw our attention to them for consideration. Upon consideration, we might find that they were simply translation errors. On the other hand, we might find hidden gems waiting for our discovery. Remember, God is the Creator of our perfectly ordered Universe (kosmos), so anything coming from Him MUST be logical.
This particular inconsistency regarding the lifespans of the people of Genesis has done its job well. Christians of all denominations and Atheists alike have filled books attempting to address this question. Most assume that this is literal and sadly the discussion ends there. Atheists accusing Christians of the belief that people lived to be 900+/- years old. Christians accusing atheists of not having the faith to believe in what seems illogical.
What you will see if you continue reading is that the power is in the allegory or shadow and not the literal meaning. Don’t get caught up in something that is unproveable and miss the point.
A prophecy points to a future event that has not yet happened. Religious leaders are famous for saying something that is not in God’s Word will happen, and then it never does. Two examples are rapture and the physical ‘second coming’ of Jesus. While so called ‘Christianity’ is focused on theses ideas made up by men, they have completely turned a blind eye to the actual prophecies laid out by God and His Prophets.
“… the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in My Name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the Word which the LORD has not spoken? When a prophet speaks in the Name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken, but the prophet has spoken it presumptuously…”

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
To ‘Walk with God’ is to be in agreement with Him. In these troublous times it seems that no one can agree with anyone on anything! Unity in Truth can only be found in the Word of the LORD. Truly, ‘Two cannot walk together unless they are in agreement?’
God has promised to send Messengers who will prepare the Way before Him. Seek His Face and walk with Him in agreement.
It sounds like you are trying to say that Jesus is God by connecting the “I am” from John 8:24 to the statement that God made to Moses “I AM that I AM” in Ex 3:14.

What words would you use to describe the message given during Biden’s State of the Union speech? He would like it to have been a message of optimism and strength, jobs and democracy. But to many watching the ‘show’, the message of chaos, confusion, division and crisis is much more appropriate. Not just from the words, but from the interactions.
A World in Crisis
Biden sauntered into his speech by declaring America is the ‘only country that has emerged from every crisis stronger’, and that ‘that‘s what we’re doing again’ referring to the COVID-19 pandemic. But this isn’t the only crisis he acknowledged on Tuesday. From here Biden covered the debt crisis, the climate crisis even calling it an existential threat, the mental health crisis, the opioid and fentanyl crisis, violence in America and abroad, food insecurity on a worldwide scale and unbearable healthcare costs.

The Bulletin for Atomic Scientists, as every January since 1947, has revealed its 2023 “Doomsday Clock” prediction this morning, Tuesday, Jan. 24. The stated purpose is to warn the public about how close humanity is to the brink of worldwide destruction. It is given as a measure of man’s progress toward the end of time.

Doom is interpreted as ‘judgment’. It comes from the Hebrew word ‘dan’ which means ‘judge’. Doomsday then is the Day of the Last Judgment at the end of the world or age or ‘Judgment Day’. Who shall stand?
