Blessed are the Peacemakers

There has been A LOT of talk about peace lately. The year 2025 opened with President Trump stating ‘My proudest legacy will be that of a peacemaker‘ during his inauguration speech. The newly elected Pope themed his first international trip ‘Blessed are the peacemakers‘ while in Turkey and Lebanon.

“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”

Matthew 5:9

In the Bible, there are the peacemakers spoken of by Jesus. But, there are also those who do not know the way of peace.

“Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goes therein shall not know peace.”

Isaiah 59:7-8

Let’s discern if these leaders are peacemakers serving God or going in ways that will never bring peace.

“Then shall you return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serves God and him that serves him not.”

Celebrate the ceasefire! You better do it quickly because the firing didn’t cease for long. October started with accolades and celebrations of a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. A few weeks later over100 were killed in one night alone. Trump has touted all the wars he has brought to an end, but it’s time to start a count of the wars he is starting. For example, look to the Caribbean. The US sent an aircraft carrier to the Caribbean signaling a massive escalation of military activity by the US government.

At the same time, a US government shutdown cut off services to millions of Americans. Meanwhile, in the UK, the ‘vision’ for the digital ID is starting to form and you better brush up on the Book of Revelation, because digital ID’s look exactly like the Mark of the Beast. If you don’t get a digital ID, you could be ‘cut off’ just like those 42 million American’s cut off from SNAP benefits. August is usually a quite month. Many people around the world are on vacation and the last days of summer break are winding to a close. This August, there was a lot of talk. Talk about peace.

“…they have seduced My People, saying, Peace; and there was no peace;…”

Ezekiel 13:10

There were two major summits of world leaders in August with the focus of ending the war in Ukraine. Did the war end? No. There was also another Israel-Hamas ceasefire agreement, the terms of which were accepted by Hamas. What happened? Israel announced an expansion of the war goals. Trump was labeled the ‘President of Peace’ by himself and others, claimed to have ended at least six wars and yet, still no peace. There were other events in August, such as wildfires, school shootings and even a Haboob. Read below to learn more. What do all of these events have to do with prophecy?
