“He that leads into captivity shall go into captivity: he that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith/confidence of the saints/Holy Ones.”
Revelation 13:10

The Rise of the Peace Force
August was full of peace talks. September turned back to war rhetoric. October flipped back to peace talks and ceasefire agreements. This is just one example of the whiplash that keeps the world in a state of chaos and confusion.
Along with the October Israel-Hamas ceasefire agreement comes the rise of the peace force. A Gaza Peace Task Force is being assembled and a newly planned ‘Board of Peace’ with Donald Trump at the lead is intended to have governance over Gaza. Some may have heard that as ‘bored’ of peace because the ceasefire is being described as ‘fragile’ and ‘tested’ as neither side has completely ceased from firing at each other. Trump’s aggressive and violent rhetoric covered below gives no indication he should lead anything with ‘peace’ in the title.
Meanwhile, countries are also already talking about a post-ceasefire stabilization force for Ukraine. That war appears to be much much further from even a ceasefire in name only. The Ukraine stabilization ‘peace force’ would include military members from around the world with the UK already estimating their contribution would cost well over £100m or $133m.
So far, the plan to end these wars includes sending in more troops in the name of peace with guns at the ready.
“There is no king(ruler/government) saved by the multitude of an host(army/military): a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. An horse (armored for war) is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. …Our soul waits for the Lord: He is our help and our shield.”
Psalm 33:16-20
Full Force Ahead
The key word in the Gaza Peace Task Force is not peace but force. Military forces are being asked to join the US-led Task Force with 200 troops from the US already committed to monitor the ‘ceasefire’ between Hamas and Israel. Troops from the UK will join them with discussions underway for troops from Qatar and Egypt. If there was an actual stop in fighting, would these troops be a necessary part of a peace deal?
Two Israeli solders were killed leading Israel to ‘launch a wave of airstrikes across the Strip killing 44 Palestinians in the process. A few days later 104 Palestinians were killed in one night of bombings. Aid is also being prevented from entering Gaza during the very fragile ‘ceasefire’ between Hamas and Israel. Both sides blame the other for violating the ceasefire.
Following the breaches in peace Trump forcefully said regarding Hamas, ‘we will have no choice but to go in and kill them‘, three days after taking a victory lap for the peace deal. A few days later Trump said if Hamas was not going to ‘behave’ and ‘be nice’ then ‘we’re going to eradicate them if we have to.’ Again, there is more talk of force than peace.
“And the king/ruler shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things
Daniel 11:36-38against/about the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. But in his estate he shall honor the god of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.”
Ukraine – Russia War Continues
Ukraine and Russia lobbed bombs and drones at each other throughout October. President Zelensky petitioned for more weapons during a visit to the US. Similarly, he asked for more military support from the Europeans while in Oslo, Norway. Additional sanctions were placed on Russia in October which has reportedly had minimal impact to the Russian economy.
The US agreed to ‘sell’ Ukraine additional Patriot air defense systems which cost $1billion each. Ukraine doesn’t actually have the money to make that kind of purchase so news articles covering the deal say they are ‘securing’ the systems from the US. Ukraine is hoping to use frozen Russian assets to finance the order, but those details have not been finalized.
Russia is also not fighting alone, but with the help of troops from North Korea. In October a ground breaking ceremony was led by Kim Jong-un to build a war memorial for the 600 and counting soldiers their country has lost in the Russia-Ukraine War.
“The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”
Genesis 6:11-13
Caribbean and South America
Undeclared War on Drug boats
Alleged drug boats in the Caribbean and now also the Pacific, continue to be the target of US military strikes. In addition to the ships, a submarine and fighter jets already deployed to the region, the USS Gerald Ford aircraft carrier and all of it support vessels that make up a strike group have been directed to join the Caribbean fleet. This is a major escalation to an already tense situation.
Without Due Process
One boat attack in October did not kill everyone on board and the two survivors led to another layer of potential legal issues for the US government. Would these men be detained as prisoners of war in a region where no official war has been declared? The administration decided to turn the individuals over to their home countries for detention and prosecution. Prosecution implies following a legal system to determine if a crime was committed and if so what is the appropriate punishment.
One of the two captured after the boat attack has already been released in Ecuador because ‘there is no evidence or indication that could lead prosecutors or judicial authorities to be certain… of any violation of current laws.’ For the other two who didn’t survive the attack, the verdict of death was carried out without formal prosecution or a declaration of war. Meanwhile, the family of two men killed in one of the strikes on a boat have accused Donald Trump of ‘killing poor people’ without due process. In Cuba, a rally was held in solidarity with Venezuela. The President of Columbia is calling the attacks murder and their foreign ministry is asking the US to ‘respect the norms dictated by international law.’
These boat incidents appear to be just the tip of the iceberg in regards to the US military activity in the region. . Trump disclosed that he authorized the Central Intelligence Agency to conduct covert operations inside Venezuela and that he was considering strikes on Venezuelan territory. Many, including Venezuelan President Maduro, have decried this as a suspected attempt at a coup to oust Maduro. The CIA has a long history of instigating coups around the world.
Trump’s Piece of the Peace Prize
Interestingly, the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Maduro’s opposition leader, Maria Corina Machado in October. She is a devout Catholic ‘known for clutching a rosary’ at political rallies. She was chosen for the award ‘for her tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela and for her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy.’ Although Maduro won the 2024 presidential election, the opposition contends it was not a fair election. Machado was prevented from running because Venezuela’s Supreme Tribunal of Justice agreed with a ban on her candidacy due to allegations of fraud, tax violations and that she supported the economic sanctions imposed by the US on Venezuela. Machado dedicated her Peace Prize ‘to President Trump for his decisive support of our cause.’ Trump’s ‘decisive support’ has been anything but peaceful.
“Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goes therein shall not know peace.”
Isaiah 59:7-8
Unhindered War Powers
Meanwhile, back in the USA, a vote on a ‘war powers resolution’ was brought forth by members of congress insisting the US military actions in the Caribbean violate US and International law. The resolution would have required the Trump administration to gain congressional approval for a declaration of war before executing more strikes. The resolution failed, but another resolution has been initiated with the intent to limit Trump’s war powers.
It is probably not a coincidence that the during this same couple of weeks the US Navy Admiral responsible for command of troops and activities in Latin America announced his resignation. The four-star general reportedly is at odds with Defense Secretary Hegseth regarding operations in the Caribbean.
“Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbors, but mischief/evil is in their hearts. Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavors: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert. Because they do not regard the works of the LORD, nor the operation of His hands, He shall destroy them, and not build them up.”
Psalm 28:3-5
Africa, Asia and Australia
Fighting in Sudan continues between the military and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). RSF has surrounded the city of El Fasher for over 550 days. As a result, starvation in the city continues to rise. El Fasher has now been declared as ‘uninhabitable’ yet there are 250,000 people ‘living’ within the city limits. At the end of October, RSF took over the city leading to reports of increased violence against the remaining civilians.
Meanwhile, the International Criminal Court (ICC) just now convicted the leader of a militia involved with atrocities in Darfur, Sudan from 20 years ago. The conflict between Arab and non-Arab tribes was justified by the government as a battle against rebels. Two and a half million people were displaced in that conflict that killed over 300,000 people. Today, twenty years later, the most recent violence in Sudan has displaced 13 million people and killed 150,000.
Guns for Hire
How can these on-again, off-again civil wars continue for decades? Partially fueling these conflicts is monetary gains. Profits are made both on a large scale with the military-industrial-complex, and on a small scale with mercenary fighters. In many wars, not all fighters are from the region or even the continent. Mercenary fighters come from all over the world to make a profit off wars. This article covers a mercenary fighter from Colombia who is fighting in Sudan’s Civil War. Part of his ‘job’ is training local children to fight in the ongoing civil battles.
Balance of Terror
South Korea is beefing up their arsenal of weapons with the near completion of so-called ‘monster’ missiles. The bunker-buster behemoths are being produced to ‘achieve a balance of terror‘ with their neighbor, North Korea. Far from acting neighborly, the two countries continue to escalate tensions and recruit support from other nations. Russia and North Korea have made agreements and exchange troops while the US is ‘on the side’ of South Korea. From regional skirmishes to full-blown wars, the world’s superpowers take a position for one side or the other. This is a situation quickly escalating local tensions to the potential for the next world war.
More Weapons
While Israel continues to battle on several borders, they are also an exporter of weapons. Earlier in the year, Australia contracted with the largest Israeli arms company for an ‘iron fist’ defense system with a price tag of $917 million. In October, they ordered $20 million worth of missiles as part of that defense system. Push back is rising in Australia against financial contracts with Israeli companies that are also major contributors to weapons for the Gaza War. While some still refer to war as defense to soften the intent, the missiles are built to cause harm regardless of where they are used.
“For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if you be followers of that which is good? But and if you suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are you: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;”
1 Peter 3:12-14
Political Upheaval and Coups
Many countries are in a state of flux and political upheaval. In Madagascar a coup removed President Rajoelina and the new military ruler was sworn in as the replacement President. Protests against water and electricity shortages led to the call for the previous president to resign. He ended up fleeing the country once the elite military unit joined the protestors and initiated the coup. The now ex-president Rajoelina had himself risen to power as the result of a coup in 2009. In the last five years Mali, Burkna Faso, Niger, Gabon and Guinea have all been taken over by military coups.
In South America, another political upheaval played out in Peru. President Boluarte, who took office in December of 2022 after the previous president was impeached, was herself impeached this October. Protests against government corruption and crime led to the impeachment vote and a new President was sworn in. This is the 7th president for Peru in the last ten years. So far, the new President, Jose Jeri, has been unable to quell the crime and protests in Peru. The new government declared a state of emergency after at least one was killed in the protests.
Political Violence
On a similar note, in Kenya the death of a long time opposition leader brought large crowds of mourners to a stadium where his body was lying in state. Security forces shot into the crowd killing four people. Earlier, the airport was shut down when mourners stormed a ceremony where the deceased was being received with military honors.
“That on the earth they (those adverse to God) shall never obtain peace and remission of sin. For they shall not rejoice in their offspring; they shall behold the slaughter of their beloved; shall lament for the destruction of their sons; and shall petition forever; but shall not obtain mercy and peace.”
Enoch 12:7
Shut it Down, Tear it Down!
The US government shutdown in October after the latest funding bill failed to pass. Hundreds of thousands of government employees were put on furlough. This means no more paychecks. For some, they can wait it out, but for many, times are getting tough. When the shutdown continued past November 1st, the shutdown also put an end to many services for Americans such as food stamps. Nearly 42 million Americans depend on the food stamp system alone. Several states declared a ‘State of Emergency’ to provide emergency assistance to food banks. The SNAP program cost about $100 billion in 2024. For comparison, the Defense (now called War) Department spent $2.4 Trillion in 2024.
Ballroom Blitz
Who is still working? The military, homeland security and the construction crew that completely tore down the East Wing of the White House, to name a few. To be clear, many presidents have renovated or changed parts of the White House and funding for the construction is not supposed to come from public funds. So who is covering the bill? The ballroom is being paid for by corporations and individual donors listed here. To no surprise, ‘many of the donors… have done ‘significant’ business with the federal government such as Google, Apple and Palantir. This is an example of the way corporations and government ‘help’ each other out for financial and political gain.
Debt Record and Shutdown Doesn’t Stop Foreign Bailout
While the government shutdown continues in what could be a record number of days, the US debt also reached a milestone! The US is now $38 Trillion in debt or $38,000,000,000,000. Seems like a good time to slow down on the spending but instead Trump decided to bailout Argentina with a $20 Billion currency swap. The intent is to help stabilize Argentina’s economy. Trump has asked US bankers to find another $20 Billion to support Argentina. Smells like a bribe for support against, say Venezuela, the country Trump is readying to invade!
“Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men: In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.”
Psalm 26:9-10
“Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.”
Psalm 73:12
The Mark of the Beast in the News
The world continues to take steps toward a complete digital ID based system. Every month there are more restrictions on your ability to travel, buy or sell. Unless you participate in these newly implemented digital ID systems, you will be left out of your ability to function in the world.
Entry/Exit Systems
This October the European Union nations started requiring all non-European Union citizens to use the biometric entry-check system when crossing any borders. The Entry/Exit System or EES requires personal identification information including fingerprints and facial images. Collection of this data started in April and will be fully implemented by April of 2026 at all border crossings. The change is being sold as a way to make borders more secure and ‘combat’ identity fraud. The EES is a precursor to a larger system planned for late 2026 called the European Travel Information and Authorization System or ETIAS.
The EU is not the only region implementing data gathering on all non-citizens. In lock-step, the US is expanding a very similar program scheduled to take effect at the end of December. All non-US citizens will be photographed and fingerprinted with this biometric data stored for tracking. Within three years the US biometric entry-exit system will be fully implemented.
UK Digital ID ‘vision’
In the UK there has been significant push back after the announcement last month regarding a digital ID. UK Prime Minister Starmer looked to quell fear over privacy and civil liberties by stating the ID’s would never be required to access hospital services. Yet, one of the first groups of people to test the UK digital ID will be veterans. When they access public services, they will use the digital ID as proof of identification. And what public service do veterans need? You guessed it… healthcare.
Starmer also stressed the security aspects of the ID. He stressed security in regards to financial activities and said the ID would not be used for surveillance. At the same time Starmer planned to make a trip to India to see first hand how they have implemented their digital ID system. Aadhaar, the Indian digital ID system, is used for accessing government services, recording health histories as well as making financial transactions and much more. As this opinion article points out, ‘Your basis to live is checked at each and every step’ through the Aadhaar system. All information is stored in the Aadhaar Data Vault and made available through data sharing agreements.
Each of these steps, justified by improving security, are a step closer to full implementation of the Mark of the Beast.
“And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that has the mark (charagma – card), or the name/authority of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”
Revelation 13:16-18
Cut Off
When a government puts a system in place that controls your money, work and ability to travel, could they ‘cut off’ your access to these basics of living? The clear answer is ‘yes’ and the US government just proved it when they canceled SNAP benefits for 42 million Americans. Those millions of Americans receive those benefits as a means of living day to day and many are distributed through digital means. In this case, funding politics caused the switch to be ‘turned off’ for those Americans, but could the same happen to individuals not in-line with the government? Again, yes! For our real-world example, just look to Canada and the citizens that had their bank accounts frozen when they protested COVID mandates.
“… the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”
James 4:4
“… In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I (Jesus) have overcome the world.”
John 16:33
The New Snow Day
Students were treated to the new version of a ‘snow day’ in October when web services failed preventing them from doing their homework. The Internet outage of Amazon Web Services and more than 2,000 companies was not limited to the US. The outage caused problems in the UK and Australia as well. Ring Doorbells stopped working, gaming sites failed, the Slack networking site and Peloton, the exercise company, were out of service. The wide reach of the outage was due to one provider supporting a broad range of applications.
Dependence on the internet goes beyond school and exercise applications. The digital ID’s implemented around the world and currently in the works for the US and UK also depend on the internet as the backbone of operation. An internet outage can prevent access to financial applications, identity verification and more.
“My eyes are to You, O God the LORD: in You is my trust; leave not my soul destitute. Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the traps of the workers of iniquity. Let the wicked fall into their own nets, while I escape.”
Psalm 141:8-10
Tribulation
Lives are lost everyday to tragic incidents bringing tribulation to family and friends. In Brazil, 17 people died when a driver lost control of a bus. The crash was not an isolated incident. In Brazil over 10,000 people died from traffic accidents in 2024 alone.
In Indonesia, a boarding school collapsed killing 67 many of which were young boys. The tragedy occurred while the Islamic school was under construction. Two additional floors were being constructed, but reporters were quick to find out that no building permits were obtained for the construction.
Mass Shooting
A mass shooting in Mississippi after a high school football game took the lives of seven people. Several victims were high school students. The weekend was Homecoming weekend and two other shootings in the state were also linked to high school Homecoming celebrations.
Earlier in the month a mass shooting at a bar in South Caroline left four dead and 20 injured.
Police Raid turned Slaughter
A drug raid in a poor area of Rio, Brazil resulted in over 132 dead. The incident has been criticized because instead of arresting and prosecuting the suspected criminals during the raid, many were killed in what residents are calling a slaughter. Relatives searched for loved ones among the dead and decried the governments violence. There were several police officers also found among the dead and many bodies showed signs of a fight.
Extreme Weather
Water
Central and eastern Mexico was surprised by intense rainfall that caused mudslides and flooding. At least 64 were killed with 65 missing in the disaster. Ten thousand troops were deployed to the region and shelters were opened.
One of the biggest impacts from rain was a typhoon that hit remote regions of Alaska and completely destroyed entire towns and villages. Over 1500 people were displaced. Over 600 people were airlifted to safety by the Alaska National Guard and many of the displaced have little to go back to.
Parts of Vietnam were flooded from water levels that hadn’t been seen for over 60 years. At least 11 people were killed in the deluge.
Earthquakes
A whopping 18 earthquakes shook the earth in October that were a magnitude 6.0 or greater. Several large earthquakes struck the Philippines. At least seven were killed from back-to-back 7.4 and 6.8 magnitude quakes. Those quakes broke loose a few weeks after a shallow 6.9 earthquake killed at least 69 people, also in the Philippines.
Wind
Melissa, a category 5 hurricane, barreled through the Caribbean. Jamaica took the brunt of the destruction and at least 50 people were killed.
“For then (at the end) shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”
Matthew 24:21-22
Protests
Protests spanned the globe in October. From Peru and Ecuador to Morocco and the USA, citizens spoke out against their governments for many reasons. A ‘mega strike’ of 100,000 public service employees occurred in New Zealand. The one-day strike closed schools and reduced non-essential services. The strike was called ‘a stunt’ by the public service minister. Meanwhile, those on strike were calling for more health and education investment by the government.
On the one year anniversary of deadly flooding in Spain, over 50,000 took to the streets to protest the governments response to the disaster. Over 70% of the regions residents believe the regional leader should resign.
In Ecuador, protestors attacked the President’s motorcade, but no one was hurt. The protestors were raising issue with rising fuel prices.
Large protests erupted in Tanzania when opposition candidates were kept off the ballots during presidential elections. An estimated 500 to 700 people were killed and a curfew was put in place.
Gen Z Protests
Protests in Morocco, led by an organization called Gen Z 212, 212 being the countries dialing code, have continued for weeks. The rising cost of living and government corruption are the primary complaints as well as a call for healthcare and education reforms.
As covered above, ongoing protests in Peru have accompanied a regime change. This Gen Z protest is also supported by transport workers and civil groups. A state of emergency has been called due to the uprisings.
No Kings Protest
In the US, another day of protests around the country were called the ‘No Kings’ protests. An estimated 5-7 million Americans joined the rallies. Trump goaded the protestors with an AI generated picture of himself wearing a crown and a video where he flies a jet (while wearing his crown) over a crowd of protestors and drops sludge or excrement on them. Children are running the country!
“Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him. As for My people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O My people, they which lead you cause you to err, and destroy the way of your paths.”
Isaiah 3:11-12
“When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.”
1 Corinthians 13:11
“And there shall be… upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring (protests).”
Luke 21:25
Caught in Unawares
“And take heed to yourself, lest at any time your hearts are overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness1“The serpents are the leaders of the peoples and their wine is their ways.” DD 3:19, and cares of this life, and so that day comes upon you in unawareness. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. You watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be able to escape all these things that shall come to pass and to stand before the Son of Adam.”
Luke 21:34-36
