Elijah, Where are You?

The Legend of Elijah

The Jewish people have a custom to leave a vacant seat and a place set at the Passover table for the Prophet Elijah. With the sound of a knock, the children run to the door and say, “Elijah, is that you?” When he comes, they expect him to be a herald of the coming of the Messiah, to resolve all unanswered questions concerning the Law of Moses, and to deliver God’s people into that Land promised by God to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and to their offspring. This includes all twelve tribes of the House of Israel.

The Arthurian Legend

Similarly, in the Arthurian Legend of the Round Table, there is an empty seat awaiting the rightful king, being the Messiah, the Branch of David, aka King Arthur. He, in pulling the sword from the stone, will thus become the High King over all the House of Israel (Gen 49:8-10). This legend is tied to the story of the Holy Grail, the Last Supper and Joseph of Arimathea, who founded Glastonbury in Britain after the death of Christ.

King James (KJV) Bible for America

In the recently published  Guardian’s list of the 100 best non-fiction books, the King James Bible comes in right under the wire at the 100 spot!  Amazing! The English-speaking, Anglo-Saxon peoples on both sides of the pond are enamored with the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible. And why not? It’s their heritage! In fact the Bible is the best-selling and most widely distributed book of all time. Jerome’s Catholic Vulgate version was the first to be printed on the Gutenberg printing press introduced into the “Holy Roman Empire” around 1440 AD. It actually put the axe to the roots of Roman Catholicism since it has nothing to do with idolatrous Rome. The authorized King James Version was published in 1611 AD addressed to God’s people, the descendants of Israel. Many people have lost their lives and had unspeakable things done to them (i.e. The Inquisition) over this book throughout history.

The article states: “The first New England settlements always championed the use of the Geneva Bible, a text that appealed to separatist congregations. However, by a remarkable paradox, towards the end of the 17th century, the King James Bible had come to be treasured as much by Americans as by the British.”

Halloween and the Days of the Dead

Halloween (“Holy Eve”), All Soul’s Day, All Saint’s Day and the Day of the Dead will be here shortly. But what are the roots of these special Days of the Dead? When we trace them all the way back to their origin, we find they came from ancient Egypt when the people were caused to worship and make sacrifices to their dead Pharaoh, their “Commander-in-chief”. The name translated ‘Egypt’ in the Bible is actually ‘Mitzraim’ which was one of the sons of Noah’s son, Ham. His other sons were Canaan, Cush and Phut. All these are the root of oppression, false religions upon the earth. Starting from their departure from the Ark of Noah, they all united under Nimrod, Cush’a son.

The Earth is filled with Violence…

Jesus said, “Take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with …the cares of this life, and so that day come upon you in unawareness. For as a snare it will come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.  Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Adam.” In Matthew 24:21 he says the end time will be a time of Tribulation not seen since the beginning of the world unto this time nor ever shall be again.

In the Book of Deuteronomy 4:29-31, Moses says when you see these things happening, “If from there you shall seek the LORD your God, you shall find Him, if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. When you are in tribulation, and all these things are come upon you, even in the latter days, if you turn to the LORD your God and will be obedient to His voice; (For the LORD your God is a merciful God;) He will not forsake you, neither destroy you, nor forget the Covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.”

Respect the Authority of God

A government or president that keeps the Commandments, statutes and Laws of God deserves respect.   They would have authority with God. Corrupt governments and leaders propped up by wealth, weapons and power do not deserve respect.  They only achieve it through fear and threat.  Knowing this, these powers enlist false teachers to convince you that you should submit to authority and that failure to do so will result in tragedy and social unrest. The fact is, corrupt governments and leaders are the cause.

Pat Robertson recently stated the following regarding the shootings in Las Vegas:

“Violence in the streets, ladies and gentlemen. Why is it happening? The fact that we have disrespect for authority; there is profound disrespect for our president, all across this nation they say terrible things about him. It’s in the news, it’s in other places. There is disrespect now for our national anthem, disrespect for our veterans, disrespect for the institutions of our government, disrespect for the court system. All the way up and down the line, disrespect.”

Many believe that Jesus physically resurrected after he was crucified. However, the Apostle Phillip says, “Those who say that the master/teacher first died and then rose up are in error, for he first arose and then died. If someone does not first attain to the resurrection, wouldn’t that person die? As God lives, that one would be dead already.” The Gospel of Phillip verse 15

Paul writes in his Epistle to the Ephesians, “But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in sins, has quickened/awakened us together with Christ (by grace/purpose you are saved); and has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in/with Christ Jesus;” Ephesians 2:4-6

“Proclaim Liberty thro’ all the Land to all the Inhabitants thereof…”

This proclamation is etched on what is known as the “symbol of American Independence” – the Liberty Bell housed in Philadelphia, the City of “Brotherly Love.” But where does this saying come from?

It is a quote from Biblical Scripture, Leviticus 25:10 pertaining to the Jubilee called for by God after He brought the House of Israel out of their oppression in Egypt…

Jesus said we should pray in this manner: My Father who is in heaven; Holy is Your Name, Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven…”

If you’ve seen our presentation on The Firmament, you know there are numbers and signs contained in the two greatest bodies we see in the heavens, the Sun and the Moon, relating to their diameters in relation to the two great structures in God’s Word, Noah’s Ark and the Ark of the Covenant. These contain measures only the Creator could have known from the very foundation of creation. These two heavenly bodies will be the stars of a great show coming soon!

As of 2005 54% (3.6 billion people) of the world’s population considered themselves adherents of an “Abrahamic religion.” Christianity being the largest at 33%, Islam second at 21% and Judaism at 0.02%. All “Abrahamic religions” claim a direct lineage to the Biblical Patriarch, Abraham.

Jesus said, If you are the children of Abraham, you would do the works of Abraham. So let’s see how well connected these “religions” really are to Abraham!

Keeping the Sabbath

What is the true Sabbath and how do we keep it?

“Let us therefore be in awe/reverence, lest a promise being left us of entering into His Rest, any of you should come short of it… There remains, therefore, a keeping of a Sabbath to the people of God.”   Hebrews 4

Many argue that the day of rest called for by God is Saturday (the seventh day of the week) or Sunday (the first day of the week). God called for His people to keep the weekly Sabbath, the seventh day, as a token to remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy unto Him. But the true Sabbath is much bigger than that. It is written, “Don’t be ignorant of the one thing: One day to the LORD is as a thousand years” (2 Peter 3:8), and “in six days, that is six thousand years all things will be accomplished” (Barnabus 13:4-5). Genesis 2 tells us that God finished His work on the sixth day and on the seventh day He rested and sanctified that day to be kept to Him.
