Jesus and the Apostles warned often of “false prophets.” In the Book of Deuteronomy, Moses spoke of false prophets. Who were they talking about? Meanwhile, there are legitimate prophets like Moses, Jesus, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Elijah, the Apostles and many more. What is a prophet and how can you tell a false prophet apart from the one you should actually listen to? Let’s take a look.
The Jewish people have a custom to leave a vacant seat and a place set at the Passover table for the Prophet Elijah. With the sound of a knock, the children run to the door and say, “Elijah, is that you?” When he comes, they expect him to be a herald of the coming of the Messiah, to resolve all unanswered questions concerning the Law of Moses, and to deliver God’s people into that Land promised by God to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and to their offspring. This includes all twelve tribes of the House of Israel.
The Arthurian Legend
Similarly, in the Arthurian Legend of the Round Table, there is an empty seat awaiting the rightful king, being the Messiah, the Branch of David, aka King Arthur. He, in pulling the sword from the stone, will thus become the High King over all the House of Israel (Gen 49:8-10). This legend is tied to the story of the Holy Grail, the Last Supper and Joseph of Arimathea, who founded Glastonbury in Britain after the death of Christ.
But how are two Legends tied together?
This Week’s Prophecy Weekly is dominated by two things God hates: violence and false prophets. These topics are covered because God destroyed the earth the first time due to violence. He will destroy the earth the second time for the same reason. God turned away from His people because they followed false prophets or priests instead of Him. Nothing has changed, yet.
Under the topic of violence, the US Military Budget is nearing $1 Trillion dollars and Trump is initiating a “Space Force”. Russia is preparing for war and countries around the world continue to “improve” their militaries.
“And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth…The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.” Genesis 6: 12-13
Under the topic of false prophets, the Catholic Church has had the first Cardinal outed for credible abuse claims. In addition, they are in the news this week for active scandals in Pennsylvania, Kansas, Louisiana, New York, Guam, England, Chile, Australia, New Zealand and India.
“You shall know them by their fruits… Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.” Matthew 7:16-18

This week’s Prophecy Weekly highlights hypocrisy within the US Government and the Catholic Church.
Starting with the US Government, much pomp and circumstance were made out of the Trump meeting with the NK leader Kim. A video created for the meeting by the National Security Council laid out a choice for Kim, War or “Financial Prosperity”, in other words, debt. Remember the borrower is the servant to the lender (Proverbs 22:7), which the US is all too familiar with. US personal and corporate debt is rising to all-time new levels, while economic inequality continues to rise. War and Violence are against God. Neither of these options is a good choice!
The government also decided to dabble in the Bible by justifying their practice of separating children and parents at the border with Romans 13. Roman’s 13 has nothing to do with the US government! Several representatives from the Catholic Church spoke up to defend the separation practice. Meanwhile, Ireland investigates the Catholic Church’s illegal adoption practices which are exactly the same thing, separating children from their parents. Hypocrisy! On a positive note, Prosecutors raided Catholic Church offices in Chile while looking into the abuse scandal. More countries should take note, and do the same to expose these wolves in sheep’s clothing!
This week’s Prophecy Weekly is dominated by violence, protests and destruction from volcanic eruptions. The Israel-Gaza conflict continues with an exchange of fire from both sides. There is NO Peace in that Israel! Protests against governments occurred in Argentina, Nicaragua, Jordana and others. The seas and the waves are roaring! In the US a new study identified a sharp rise in suicide rates. People have lost hope and their leaders only continue to lead them into more wars, debt and depression. It is time to turn to God!
The ballooning child abuse scandals continue to expose false prophets. Current scandals cover the globe and include the following countries and states:
This week’s Prophecy Weekly covers those “that appear righteous, yet are full of iniquity”. “Pope” Francis condemned the “culture of abuse and cover-up” in a letter he wrote to the Catholic Bishops in Chile. Francis is just giving the world lip service. At the same time, two archdioceses in Minnesota settled with 450 abuse victims for $210 Million dollars this week. Meanwhile, in Australia, the Catholic church opted into a redress scheme. The Church’s liabilities to abuse victims has been estimated at over a billion dollars.
In the UK, the next Catholic scandal to come to light is the illegal adoption practices of Catholic institutions. The alarms are sounding! An institution associated with schools and adoption agencies has admitted to a “culture of abuse and cover-up”. The most vulnerable are in the hands of the criminals. In other words, the fox is watching the hen house! These crimes do not stop in Chile. They are occurring worldwide and must be stopped!
“…you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but within you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.” Matthew 23:28
In other news, extreme weather has caused flooding in Maryland, a drought in Southwest US and killed 50 in India. The Volcano in Hawaii continues to erupt.
Meanwhile, protests against governments are occurring in Warsaw, Nicaragua and Argentina, just to highlight a few. These protests ARE the seas and the waves roaring spoken of in God’s Word. They continue to get worse and expose governments for oppressive practices throughout the world!
“And there shall be… upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring (protests).” Luke 21:25
This week’s Prophecy Weekly includes coverage of the vote in Ireland to lift the ban on abortions. The Catholic Church has put burdens of guilt on millions by having them believe that abortion is murder. It is not! Click on the information box regarding the vote in Ireland to learn more. This is just one more way these false prophets have deceived many!
“For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.” Matthew 23:4
In other news, Sweden is preparing its citizens for war and protests are occurring in Brazil, Morocco and France.
This week’s Prophecy Weekly is marred with violence and deceptions. In the US, the 22nd school shooting of the year occurred. This brings the number of deaths to school children to greater than those in the military. Neither should happen! At the same time, the US pushed forward with the opening of the US Embassy in Jerusalem, which coincided with 59 Palestinian protestor deaths by Israeli forces. The UN is pushing to open a war crime investigation which the US opposes. There is no peace in Jerusalem!
“The Prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, says the Lord.” Ezekiel 13:16
Meanwhile, the Pope hosted 34 Bishops from Chile. They all offered their resignations as fallout for the scandal against the church. Upon the initial reports of abuse by the victims, there were no offers of resignation. This is just a publicity stunt! What is the true priority here?
This week’s Prophecy Weekly is again dominated by false prophets having their crimes exposed. Jesus warned, “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” – Matthew 7:15. It should be abundantly clear who he was talking about! The abuse scandals are in the news this week in the following locations:
US – Midwest
Catholic organizations are known for abusing children worldwide, but have a front row seat in the US government. A Catholic Jesuit has been reinstated as the US House Chaplain. What kind of influence can he have?
There are also “wars and rumors of wars” with conflicts in Syria, Afghanistan and Africa. God destroyed the earth the first time because of violence, and no one has learned from this history!
