Prophecy Monthly – February 2024

February was a month dominated by violence. The Israel-Hamas war waged on. The Ukraine-Russia war continued. Fighting in the rest of the Middle East only continued to escalate. Even the religious houses of worship couldn’t keep violence at bay. There was a massacre at a church in Africa, a shooting at a megachurch in the US and violence at a Mosque construction site in India that resulted in 4,000 police responders. Many speak of peace, but only violence continues to escalate.

The following map is a summary of current events related to prophecy. Below the map you will find the event details and relevant Scriptural references. Many people have been taught God’s Word in the past tense. This is incorrect. The teachings and scenarios in the Bible and God’s Word are all prophetic, pointing to a future time, and that time is now.

Wars and Rumors of Wars

Israel-Hamas War

The Israel-Hamas war continues to destroy lives on both sides. There are now at least 30,000 killed in Gaza alone from the war. Talks of a cease-fire have all fallen flat. For the third time, the US has vetoed a ceasefire vote by the UN. A United Nations rights expert has now said:

“There is no reason to intentionally block the passage of humanitarian aid or intentionally obliterate small-scale fishing vessels, greenhouses and orchards in Gaza – other than to deny people access to food. Intentionally depriving people of food is clearly a war crime…. In my view as a UN human rights expert, this is now a situation of genocide.”

Michael Fakhri

This is exactly why Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by God from the face of the earth. Read the entire chapter of Jasher 19 for the full scenario.

“And the Lord was provoked at this and at all the works of the cities of Sodom, for they had abundance of food and had tranquility among them, and still would not sustain the poor and the needy, and in those days their evil doings and sins became great before the Lord.”

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear/listen, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man is not the righteousness of God.”

James 1:19-20

“The beginning of sorrows and great mourning, the beginning of famine and great death; the beginning of wars, and the powers shall stand in fear; the beginning of evils! what shall I do when these evils shall come? Behold, famine and plague, tribulation, and anguish, are sent as scourges for amendment… For many of them that dwell upon earth shall perish of famine, and the other, that escape the hunger, shall the sword destroy.”

2 Esdras 16:18-22

Middle East Military Escalations

Meanwhile, the rest of the Middles East is continuing to see military escalations. The Red Sea shipping activities have seen attacks causing damage to tankers and cargo ships. One vessel, disabled from an attack, holds 41,000 tons of fertilizer and has an 18-mile oil slick from the attack.

The United States and the UK continue attacks in Yemen. At the same time the US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, is now calling the expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal, something they previously supported.

Israel has also been expanding it’s military actions in Lebanon. Eleven civilians were killed near the border with Israel from an Israeli rocket strike. At the same time, Hezbollah is firing rockets into Israel.

“And it shall come to pass in the last days… many people shall come and say, ‘Come ye, and let us go up to the Mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, … and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.”

Isaiah 2:2-4

“And the king (leader) shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself… But in his estate (place) shall he honor the god of forces (weapons): and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.”

Daniel 11:36-38

“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that does good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulcher; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

Romans 3:10-18

Ukraine-Russian War

The Ukraine-Russian war is still at a stalemate. The maps in this linked article, show little change from November of 2022 to February 2024, yet the lives lost are beyond devastating for families on both sides. Here is an excerpt:

Ukraine has apparently been expanding its fight against Russia outside of their shared border. In February it was reported that Ukrainian special forces in Sudan are fighting against the RSF (Rapid Support Forces) which are said to be supported by Russia’s Wagner Group, a mercenary army of sorts.

Darkened Countries host U.S. Military bases

NATO expands with the final approval by Hungary’s parliament for Sweden to join the military alliance. As a result the U.S is currently expanding its military presence in Europe to include Sweden. Finland joined NATO just last year. With the addition of these two countries, NATO now has complete territorial access to (control of) the Baltic Sea, a ‘crucial maritime gateway for Russia.

Speaking of the Baltic Sea, Denmark became the second country after Sweden to drop its criminal investigation in the the Nord Stream pipeline blasts. They sighted a lack of jurisdiction. Germany is continuing with their investigation. The explosion led to what ‘analysts believe could be the single largest release of methane due to human activity.’

Sudan War

Almost 8 million people have fled their homes to camps to get away from the violence. Malnutrition, Dengue fever and malaria are overwhelming displaced residents in Sudan. According to one medical charity, a child is dying every two hours in these camps.

Arms Trade & Military Readiness

The world powers increased their spending on ‘defense’ or war preparation by 9% in 2023 bringing the total to $2.2 Trillion world wide. Imagine if that amount of money was instead spent on hunger and homelessness across the globe!

The UK won a legal case that will allow it to continue to sell weapons to Israel and thereby continue to fuel the fighting. The US held military exercises in Australia which had the added ‘benefit’ of transferring supplies to the region in the event there is a future confrontation with China. The trillions of dollars spent on ‘defense’ are manifesting in not just active wars, but in potential wars, leading to increased military spending on all sides.

Fleeing Military Service

Myanmar passed a Military Service Law to conscript men and women into the military for up to five years ‘in an emergency situation.’ Thousands have been lining up on a daily basis at passport offices and embassies to obtain documents needed to leave the country. The people do not want to fight, and many see the military as fighting their own people. One resident said, “The military is infamous – they are killing people, arresting people, doing so many unjust things.”

Violence at Churches

Places of worship have also become a place of violence. In just one month, there were at least twelve killed at a Catholic Church in Africa and protestors against the construction of a mosque in India led to 4,000 police officers imposing a curfew with orders to shoot violators. Authorities also took the now common tactic of shutting down internet services as a way to address the uprising.

In the United States, a shooting occurred at Joel Osteen’s megachurch in Texas. The prosperity gospel preacher is known for his ‘make everybody feel good’ gospel that ‘doesn’t claim to be theologically or philosophically deep’ according to one professor of religion. Osteen is a perfect example of the false preachers God has warned about who only speak ‘smooth things’ or a ‘feel good’ message.

“Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever: That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy lies:.. Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because you despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon: Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking comes suddenly at an instant.”

Isaiah 30:8-13

Protests by farmers continued in Brussels with farmers setting fire to tires. Likewise, farmers in India are protesting for minimum prices for their goods and a raise that was previously agreed to by the government. Teargas was fired on the protesters as they marched to Delhi.

Meanwhile, Brazilians rallied behind ex-president Jair Bolsonaro and protested against the existing administration in Sao Paulo. In Mexico, protestors came out against proposed electoral changes.

In Greece, on the one year anniversary of a deadly train crash that killed 57, protestors took to the streets and strikes occurred bringing the country to a standstill. The chant of ‘their profits, our lives’ called out safety system deficiencies by the train operators.

A week-long strike was called for by the German trade union in response to working conditions and pay. They joined climate activists and a nationwide walkout occurred.

The Mark of the Beast

Digital Services

A country-wide internet outage in Sudan froze the e-wallets of residents already facing war and a ‘widespread cash shortage.’ Nowadays, a communication outage also means a financial transaction outage for many in the world. In February, phone service was cut off in Pakistan on election day ‘for security’ reasons explained to be associated with two bomb attacks on an election offices.

If the population was dependent on their phones for payment services, theses too would have been cut off. That is exactly where the world leaders are taking their populations. Digital identities tied to digital currencies are at different stages of development across the globe. The mark of the Beast, as described in the Book of Revelation, prevents those who take the mark from buying or selling unless they have it.

Here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

Revelation 13:16-18

February is know for Carnival celebrations and Mardi Gras or Fat Tuesday, holidays of debauchery and gluttony that can be traced back to ancient Saturnalia festivals. Both of these pagan celebrations are against God’s Commands because of the origins with the pagan gods of Saturn and Jupiter. The period of Lent starting on Ash Wednesday and Valentines Day also have origins in paganism. This year they happened to occur on the same day. In addition to pagan worship practices, the 14th of February was also marred by violence when a shooting happened at the Chief’s Super Bowl parade. This day has been overtaken by violence before when a gunman killed 17 students at a Florida school, turning this ‘feast-day’ into mourning.

Spiritual Wickedness in High Places

During a Mass at a church in Italy, right after the consecration of the wine, the priest smelled foul play. Just as he was about to take a sip the smell of bleach arose from the cup. Having received death threats from the local mafia, he halted the service and had the mixture tested at a laboratory. Sure enough, bleach!

The news coverage points out that this priest, like many priests in Italy will now have a police escort for protection. Strange, because he was quoted as saying ‘My revenge is called love, my shield forgiveness and my armor mercy’ when in fact his shield and armor are a police escort.

Now, what the news failed to address is why was there wine or bleach in this just consecrated goblet of wine?! According to the Roman Catholic Church, the Eucharist ritual changes the wine into the actual blood of Jesus, so the tests should have shown blood and nothing else. Now, to a majority of the world, this line of questioning sounds absolutely ridiculous, but if you dig into the beliefs of the Roman Catholic Church, you will find they believe a few hocus-pocus words change the wine into actual blood. This is spiritual wickedness manifest!

“For they that are after the flesh[ly mindset] do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit[ual mindset] the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the Law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh[ly mindset] cannot please God.”

The Roots are Exposed

In an interesting turn, Catholics are ‘leaving’ Catholicism and turning to paganism. The thing is, Catholicism IS paganism. Constantine, the Emperor who established Catholicism in 325 AD merged various pagan religions together under the name of Christianity, when it is anything but Christian. Rome just erected a giant statue of Constantine, which is completely appropriate as he is the true founder of their religion. Paganism is the very root out of which that religion was born. For in-depth coverage of this very subject, watch the series of podcasts linked below.

On a similar note, a new temple was just completed in Iceland that is dedicated to their Norse gods. People are turning back to their roots, albeit the pagan roots which God, the Creator, has been warning against for thousands of years.

“[Most things] in the world, as long as their [inner parts] are hidden, stand upright and live. [If they are revealed] they die, as is illustrated by the visible man: [as long as] the intestines of the man are hidden, the man is alive; when his intestines are exposed and come out of him, the man will die. So also with the tree: while its root is hidden it sprouts and grows. If its root is exposed, the tree dries up. … For so long as the root of wickedness is hidden, it is strong. But when it is recognized it is dissolved. When it is revealed it perishes. That is why the word says, “Already the ax is laid at the root of the trees” (Matthew 3:10). It will not merely cut– what is cut sprouts again–but the ax penetrates deeply until it brings up the root. Jesus pulled out the root of the whole place, while others did it only partially…”

Sex Abuse Scandals

Sex abuse scandals continue around the world, especially within the Roman Catholic Church. While the Roman Catholic Church has said many times they are working to be transparent, many of the news articles from this past month highlight that the exact opposite is happening.

Poland is in an uproar because the resignation of an Archbishop was publicly stated to be due to health reasons, while it was well-known he had a history of ‘ignoring the victims of sexual abuse for years in his archdiocese.’ After pressure from the public, the Vatican embassy acknowledged the Bishop departed after ‘an investigation by the Holy See (nothing) into the management of the diocese, and in particular the negligence referred to in the papal document’ from 2019 that outlined responsibilities of bishops regarding clergy sex abuse.

Similarly, a priest accused of misconduct in Texas was found preaching in New Orleans even though the Archdiocese was fully aware of his misconduct.

No Transparency

Below are a couple of articles on the Roman Catholic Church’s process for handling clergy abuse claims. Transparency has not been one of the outcomes. Regarding their process established five years ago, ‘five years later, the Vatican has offered no transparency or statistics on the number of bishops investigated or sanctioned. Even the pope’s own child protection advisory commission says structural problems built into the system are harming victims and preventing basic justice.’

The Southern Baptists Church has also faced lawsuits associated with abuse claims. Just this last month, they dealt with the issue by expelling two churches from their organization for mishandling abuse claims. Of course these actions do nothing to help the victims.

Jailed Politicians

Throughout the world, leaders of countries are given the trust of their people. Throughout the world, those leaders fail and fall into corruption. Sometimes the accusations of corruption are true and sometimes the accusations are political moves by opponents. The people being led by these rulers rarely get the full story. Below are three headlines of examples of such accusations of corruption from the month of February alone. The prophet Esdras prophesied that there would be a time of faltering or falling away of leaders and confusion of rulers. We are most certainly in that time.

Former Tunisian president Moncef Marzouki given eight years in prison
Former Thai PM Thaksin Shinawatra released on parole from police hospital
Imran Khan, Pakistan former PM, sentenced to 14 years in prison for corruption

“When there shall appear in the world earthquakes, the tumult of peoples, Plots of the heaven/nations, wavering (faltering/falling away) of leaders, and confusion of princes/leaders, then you will understand that it was of these things that the Most High spoke from the days that were of old, from the beginning.”

The Works of Men

Threatened Ecosystems

Often, humans think they can fix, improve or correct something made by the Creator. A perfect example is a tree-planting project in Africa that scientists are now warning is threatening the existing ecosystem. A grassy ecosystem in an area equivalent to the size of France was misclassified as a forest which then opened it up for reforestation. 60% of the trees planted were non-native species and now the original ecosystem is threatened.

Forever Chemicals

Over the last 150 years the amount of man-made chemicals have infiltrated every aspect of human lives. Fertilizers, plastics and pharmaceuticals are just a few examples of the source of toxic ‘forever chemicals’ that have made it into the American water supply. At least 60% of the US population is likely ingesting chemicals from their very own tap water. Similarly, food in America is also contaminated. Processed foods are found to have ever more increasing levels of toxic ‘forever chemicals.’

Satellite Mega-constellations

The space around the planet has not escaped the influence of humans. The number of satellites orbiting the planet have ‘skyrocketed’ in recent years to support technology on earth, with hundreds of thousands more planned for launch in the near future. Megaconstellations refers to groups of satellites that work together, for example the Starlink internet satellites.

A new found risk warns against the impacts these decaying satellites will have on our planet’s magnetic field. According to one researcher, “Every satellite that goes up will eventually come down, disintegrating in Earth’s atmosphere. This will create a massive layer of conducting, electrically charged particles around our planet.” The report concluded that ‘metal debris from a single de-orbited Starlink satellite is 7 million times more massive that the Van Allen Belts.’ The concern is ‘satellite debris could weaken Earth’s magnetic field – the same magnetic field that protects us from cosmic rays and solar storms.’ As the sun continues it’s approach to solar maximum, these risks are more likely to become manifest.

Solar Weather

There were five x-class flares in February, three of which were from the same sunspot. The largest, an X-6.3 was the largest of this solar cycle. 45 M-class solar flares erupted and over 200 C-class flares. On February 12th a whopping nine solar flares erupted. Here is a composite image of the nine flares and filament eruptions.

Wildfires, Heatwaves & Drought

Wildfires in Chile took the lives of at least 131 people. As one article put it, ‘we are in an era of megafires‘ referring to the Chile blaze as well as wildfires in Argentina. Australia evacuated 30,000 people due to the risks of bush fires and last but not least, Texas had the largest wildfire in their history.

Globally, January was the hottest on record. With record heat comes drought. A region of Spain declared an emergency and farmers livelihoods are under threat from the lack of water. The Great lakes in the US Midwest would normally have a significant amount of ice during this time of year, but the ice cover has dropped to only 6%.
