144,000

There is a Remnant prophesied to come. 144,000 will stand with the Lamb of God. They have the Name of God written in their foreheads.

And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the Mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his name and his Father’s name written in their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: And they sung as it were a New Song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.”

Revelation 14:1-3

This multitude of people will read and understand the Word of God. His Name written in their foreheads, is to say, His Authority and His Commandments are continually in the forefront of their minds. Thus, they look at the world from His perspective and see all things from His point of view.

144 cubit Wall

“And I John saw the Holy City, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of Heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying, ‘Behold, the Tabernacle of God is with/made up of people and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.”
“And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of the man, that is, of the Angel.”

Revelation 21:2-3, 17

These are they which stand as a Wall around The Tabernacle of God. God is with them and they are His people.

The Number of those Sealed

“And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.”

Revelation 7:4

“Arise and stand, behold the number of those that be sealed in the feast of the Lord; Which are departed from the shadow of the world, and have received glorious garments of the Lord. Take your number, O Sion, and shut up those of yours that are clothed in white, which have fulfilled the Law of the Lord. The number of your children, whom you long for, is fulfilled: beseech the power of the Lord, that your people, which have been called from the beginning, may be hallowed. I Esdras saw upon the Mount Sion a great people, whom I could not number, and they all praised the Lord with songs. And in the midst of them there was a young man of a high stature, taller than all the rest, and upon every one of their heads he set crowns, and was more exalted; which I marveled at greatly. So I asked the angel, and said, ‘Sir, who are these?’ He answered and said to me, ‘These are they that have put off the mortal clothing, and put on the immortal, and have professed the Name of God: now are they crowned, and receive palms.’ Then I said to the Angel, ‘What young person is it that crowns them, and gives them palms in their hands?’ So he answered and said to me, ‘It is the Son of God, whom they have professed in the world.’ Then I began to greatly commend them that stood so firmly for the Name of the Lord.”

2 Esdras 2:38-47

A Great Multitude

“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindred, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, ‘Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.”

Revelation 7:9-10

Who are These Arrayed in White Robes?

“And one of the elders answered, saying to me, ‘Who are these which are arrayed in white robes? and where have they come from?’ And I said to him, ‘Sir, you know.’ And he said to me, ‘These are they which came out of Great Tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His Temple: and he that sits on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto fountains of living waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.”

Revelation 7:13-17

The finely woven garment is the Word of God. Washed of all defilement, misinterpretation, and mistranslation, it becomes white. Jesus taught the true interpretation of Scripture. The blood of the Lamb is the testimony of Jesus, which makes one white and clean with righteousness and wisdom.

“Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife has made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of Holy Ones.”

Revelation 19:7-8

Ten Thousand Times Ten Thousand

“I beheld till the thrones were cast down and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.”

Daniel 7:9-10

He comes with ten thousands of His Holy Ones

“And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, ‘Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His Holy Ones, to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”

Jude :14-15

Behold, he comes with ten thousands of his Holy Ones, to execute judgment upon them, and destroy the wicked, and reprove all the carnal/flesh for everything which the sinful and ungodly have done, and committed against Him.”

Enoch 2:1

The Stars of Heaven

“And He brought Abraham forth abroad/outside and said, Look now toward Heaven, and tell/count the stars, if you are able to number them: and He said to him, ‘So shall your seed be.”

Genesis 15:5

“And I will make your seed to multiply as the Stars of Heaven, and will give unto your seed all these countries; and in your seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; Because that Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My Commandments, My statutes, and My Laws.”

Genesis 26:4-5

“And God said, ‘Let there be Lights in the Firmament of the Heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for Lights in the Firmament of the Heaven to give Light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two Great Lights; the Greater Light to rule the day and the Lesser Light to rule the night: He made the stars also.”

Genesis 1:14-16

“And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which stands for the children of your people: and there shall be a Time of Tribulation, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the Book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the Firmament; and they that turn many to Righteousness as the Stars for ever and ever.”

Daniel 12:1-3

The name Michael means “one who is like God”, made in the image of God. Daniel prophesied of his coming as a Deliverer in the Time of Tribulation. In Genesis, the same man shines as a Light in darkness, the Lesser Light to rule the Night. The Children of Abraham who receive his instruction, become wise and turn many to righteousness. They will shine as the Stars of the Firmament.

Thousands that keep the Commandments

“You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in Heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting/punishing the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate/disregard Me; And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love Me, and keep My Commandments.”

Exodus 20:3-6

“Here is the patience of the Elect: here are they that keep the Commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from Heaven saying to me, ‘Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yes, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.”

Revelation 14:12-13

The Firstborn among Many Brethren

The 144,000 are the children of God that love Him as their Father and keep His Commandments. God raises His children in the same manner as any father who teaches a son to act properly, to do what is right at all times. Jesus is our example, whose knowledge of our Father made his face to shine as the Sun. 144,000 prophesied to come, shine just as brightly. Jesus was the firstborn among many brethren.

“For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”
