There are over 4,000 religions in the world today and they all worship “god” or “gods”, but which religion is right? They don’t all worship their “god” in the same way, with the same beliefs or even the same scriptures. Yet, they all believe their “god” is God. Does anyone actually understand and know God?
Proof of the Creator
Let’s start with establishing that the Author of the Bible IS the one and only God. How? Watch the “Proof the the Creator” video linked here. The video will show you numbers built into God’s Word and into God’s Creation. Why is this important? These numbers are the same and thereby directly link the Author of the Bible to the Creator, God. The writings in the Bible are the actual Words of the Creator!
Is there more to these numbers? They not only confirm a connection to the Creator, but they also point to specific entities of His Creation. The celestial objects in the Heavens are a shadow of actual people who have walked, or are now walking, on earth. These celestial entities are the Sun, the Moon and the Stars, the objects that make up The Firmament.
Consider the Celestial Entities
“And after six days Jesus takes Peter, James, and John his brother, and brings them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the Sun…”
Matthew 17:1-2
“My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of My lips. Once have I sworn by My holiness that I will not lie unto David. His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the Sun before Me. It shall be established for ever as the Moon, and as a faithful/truthful witness in Heaven/The Firmament. Selah.”
Psalm 89:34-37
“And they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the Stars for ever and ever.”
Daniel 12:3
Consider the Measurements
“In those days (at the end) I beheld long ropes (“measuring lines/ cords/ rods/ reeds”) were given to those angels/messengers… And I inquired of the angel, saying, Why have they taken those long ropes, and gone forth? He said, They are gone forth to measure. The angel, who proceeded with me, said, These are the measures of the righteous/righteousness; and cords shall the righteous bring, that they may trust in the Name of the Lord of Spirits forever and ever… And these are the measures which shall give/yield truth, and which shall strengthen (“give power to”) the Words of righteousness. These measures shall reveal all the secrets in the depth of the earth.”
Enoch 60:1-6
“..give them the books .., and they will read them and they will acknowledge Me as the Creator of everything. And they will understand that there is no other God except Myself.”
2 Enoch 33:8
God’s Warnings against Religions
God’s Word continuously warns against the precepts, teachings or doctrines of men. What are doctrines of men? In one word, religions! All religions are contrary to God. Most egregiously, the ones that claim to represent God when, in fact, they do not.
“Therefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near Me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor Me, but have removed their heart far from Me, and their fear/reverence toward Me is taught by the precept of men: Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people, even a marvelous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.”
Isaiah 29:13-14
Jesus himself pointed to the false prophets or teachers of his day. He directly referenced the writings of Isaiah.
“He (Jesus) answered and said to them, Well has Isaiah prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. Howbeit in vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men…”
Mark 7:6-8
You will find Paul’s quote below twice in the Psalms. Jesus and the Apostles all read the Old Testament books and you should too. The Old Testament chronicles the turning away of Israel from God and to false religions and false gods/idols.
“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understand, there is none that seeks after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that do good, no, not one.”
Romans 3:10-12
God’s Words
Jesus, Isaiah, Moses, the Prophets and Apostles all spoke the Words of God, not their own Words.
“Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but His that sent me. If any man will do His (God”s) will, he shall know/understand the doctrine, whether it is from God, or whether I speak of/from myself. He that speaks from himself seeks his own glory: but he that seeks His (God’s) glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. Did not Moses give you the Law, and yet none of you keep the Law? Why go you about to kill me?”
John 7:16-19
Are you learning the doctrines of men or God? The only way to find out is to look to His, God’s, Words! Let God show you. How? By opening up His book and proving it to yourself. Likewise, are you finding contradictions in the Bible? Where do the contradictions stem from? The doctrines of men have infiltrated the common understanding of God’s Word and led to many of these contradictions. It’s time to look at His Word in a new light. God’s physical creation is perfect and so is His Word. So, which religion is right? None of them. Instead of finding religion, it’s time to find God!
“Then shall you return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serves God and him that serves him not.”
