We’re on a Mission…

Lion roaring

The Firmament of Heaven has been given a mission, and here’s what it is:

Enoch said,

The Word of the Blessing of Enoch, how he blessed the Elect and the Righteous, who are to exist in the time of tribulation (see Dan 12:1-3); rejecting all the wicked and ungodly. Enoch, a righteous man, who was with God, answered and spoke, while his eyes were open, and while he saw a holy vision in the Heavens.

This the messengers showed me.  From them I heard all things, and understood what I saw; that which will not take place in this generation, but in a generation which is to succeed at a distant period, on account of the Elect.

Upon their account I spoke and conversed with… the God of the world:”

(The Book of Enoch 1:1-3)

Enoch, the seventh from Adam, was the first major Prophet of God and, as stated above, directed his words toward the Elect that would exist at a distant period in the future in the time of tribulation.  Since Enoch was with God, the words he spoke to that future generation were, in fact, the Pure Breath of God Himself.

Later came Moses…

Moses Leading the People

Toward the end of Deuteronomy (Deut 31), it is written that God told Moses he was about to die (after having led the people of Israel out of Egypt) and that the people would go after other gods, forsaking the God of Jacob & breaking His Covenant that He had made with them.  God said that, because of their adultery/idolatry in turning away from Him, His Wrath would be kindled against His People & He would hide His Face from them.  He told Moses that His People would then endure many tribulations, to such an extent that many would say, “Aren’t these evils come upon us because our God isn’t with us?”.  Therefore, God told Moses to write a Song regarding this and to teach it to the children of Israel (Jacob).  God said that this Song would be a witness against them when tribulations are upon them for turning to serve other gods and breaking His Covenant.

So, Moses wrote the Song that same day and taught it to the children of Israel, writing the Words of the Law in a Book for the time of the end.  Then God told Joshua to be strong & courageous because it was he that would bring His People into the Land that God had sworn to them and that He would be with Joshua after Moses was gone.

After Moses completed writing the Words of the Law in a Book for the time of the end, he commanded the Levites (the only ones who could grasp the Ark of the Covenant) to take the Book of the Law and place it inside the Ark of the Covenant to be a witness against them.  Moses told the people of Israel that he knew they would go after other gods after his death, turning aside from the Way that Moses had led them, and that because of this they would be in tribulation in the latter days.

And Moses spoke in the ears of God’s People the Words of this Song regarding the end…

Book - Heaven

The Song of Moses

Give ear, O you Heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O Land, the Words of my mouth.  My Teaching shall drop as the Rain, my Word shall descend like Dew, like Showers on grass and like abundant rains on a plant:

Because I will proclaim the Authority of the LORD: and ascribe greatness unto our God.  He is the Rock, His Work is perfect: for all His Ways are Judgment/Justice: a God of Truth and without iniquity, Just and Righteous is He.  You have defiled yourselves; you are not His Children: you are a crooked and perverse generationDo you repay the LORD like this, O foolish and stupid people?  Isn’t He your Father Who has bought you?  Hasn’t He made and established you?

Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask of your forefather, and he will show you; your elders, and they will tell you.  When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the Place of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.  For the LORD’s smooth stones are His People; Jacob is the Company of His Inheritance.

He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; He led him about, He instructed him, He kept him as the Apple of His Eye.  As an eagle stirs up her nest, flutters over her young, spreads abroad her wings, takes them, & bears them on her wings:

So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.  He made him to suck honey out of a Rock, and milk out of a hard Rock;

The butter of the herd, and milk of the flock, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the finest kernels of wheat; and you drank the Pure Blood of the grape.

And Jeshurun (symbolic reference to Israel) grew fat, and kicked: you are grown fat, you are grown thick, you are covered with fatness; now you forsake God which made you, and lightly esteem the Rock of your salvation.

You’ve provoked Him to jealousy with strange gods, with disgusting idolatries you’ve provoked Him to anger.  You’ve offered to demons, not to God; to gods whom you knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your forefathers didn’t reverence.

Of the Rock that begat you are you unmindful, and have forgotten God that formed you.  And when the LORD saw it, He abhorred you, because of the provoking of your sons, and of your daughters.

And He said, “I will hide My Face from them, I will see what their end will be:  for they are a very perverse generation, children in whom is no Truth.  They have moved Me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked Me to anger with their vanities: I will provoke them to anger with a stupid/wicked people.  For a Fire is kindled in My Wrath, and it will burn against the world of the dead, and it will devour the earth and its harvest, and it will set on fire the foundations of the mountains.  I will heap disasters upon them; I will spend My arrows against them. (see Jer 4:20-22)  I will send against them wasting by famine, and consumption by pestilence, and plague, and deadly teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust.  The sword outside, and terrorism within, will destroy both the young man and the young woman, the suckling child also with the man of gray hairs.  I said I would scatter them into the corners of the earth, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:”

“But I dreaded the taunt of the enemy, lest their adversaries misunderstand, and lest they should say, ‘Our hands have triumphed, and the LORD hasn’t done all this.’  Indeed they are a people lacking in sense, and there is no understanding in themIf only they were wise and would understand this, and discern what their end will be!

How could one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, if not that their Rock has sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?  For the wicked’s rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.  For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of poison, their clusters are bitter:

Their wine is the poison of serpents, and the cruel venom of asps.

God says, “Isn’t this laid up in store with Me, and sealed up among My treasures?  Vengeance and recompense belong to Me; their foot will slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is near, and the things that will come upon them make haste.”

For the LORD shall judge His People, and avenge Himself for His Servants, when He sees that their strength is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.

And He will say, “Where are their gods, their stone in whom they trusted, which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink offerings?  Let them rise up and help you, and be your protection.  See now I, even I, am He, and there is no god besides Me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of My Hand.  For I lift up My Hand to Heaven, and say, I live forever.  If I whet My glittering Sword, and My Hand takes hold on Judgment; I will render vengeance to My enemies, and will reward them that are My enemies.  I will make My arrows drunk with blood, and My Sword shall devour flesh; with the blood of the dead and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.”

Rejoice, O you tribes, His People: He will avenge the blood of His Servants, and will render vengeance to His adversaries, but will be merciful unto His Land, and to His People.

And Moses spoke all theses Words of this Song of the end to all the people – he and Joshua.  Then he said to them, “Set your hearts unto all the Words which I testify among you this Day, which you shall command your children to observe to do, all the Words of this Law.  For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through This Thing you will prolong your days in the Land, where you go beyond the lower portion to possess it (at the end).”

Years later, another Song was written for God’s People…

Psalm 149

Praise the LORD.  Sing to the Lord a New Song, and His praise in the congregation of the Elect.  Let Israel rejoice in Him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.  Let them praise His Authority in the dance: let them sing praises to Him with the tambourine and harp.

For the LORD takes pleasure in His People: He will embellish the ones who lay down with salvation.  Let the Elect be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.  Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged Sword in their hand;

To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and rebuke upon those people;

To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

To execute upon them the Judgment written: this honor have all His Elect.

Praise the LORD!

Later yet, the Prophet Malachi had something to say…

In Malachi’s writings (Mal 2:1-4), he says that this Commandment is for the priests from God:

If you won’t hearken, and if you won’t lay it to heart, to give glory to My Authority,” says the LORD of hosts, “I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yes, I have cursed them already, because you do not lay it to heart.  Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread shit upon your faces, even the shit of your solemn holidays; and one will take you away with it.  And you will know that I have sent this Commandment to you, that My Covenant might be with Levi.”

The Prophet Amos had a message from God as well…

In Amos’s writings (Amos 7:7-8:7), he tells us of two visions that he had regarding God’s People.

In one, Amos saw a wall that was made by a plumb line with a plumb line hanging down.  And God said to him, “Amos, what do you see?”  And he said, “A plumb line.”  Then the LORD said, “Behold, I will set a plumb line in the midst of My People Israel: I will not again pass by them anymore:”  God went on to say that the temples & sanctuaries of Israel would be laid waste.

In another vision, Amos saw a basket of summer fruit, and God said, “Amos, what do you see?”  And Amos said, “A basket of summer fruit.”  Then the LORD said to him, “The end is come upon My People of Israel; I will not again pass by them anymore.  And the songs of the temple will be wailings in that Day, there will be many dead bodies in every place.”  And God said, “Hear this, O you that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail, saying, ‘When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn?  And the Sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?  That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yes, and sell them the refuse of the food?’”  Regarding this, God said that He has sworn by the excellency of Jacob,Surely I will never forget any of their works.

About 700 years later, a Revelation was given…

As a Revelation of the end times: (Rev 14-15:3)

A Lamb stood on Mount Zion and with him 144,000, having their Father’s Name written in their mind.  Then a Voice was heard from Heaven, a loud Voice as a thunderous multitude singing, and they sung a New Song that no one could learn except those 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.  These are the ones who are spiritual virgins, not defiled with adulterous/idolatrous women.  They follow the Lamb wherever he goes and are redeemed from among men, being the Firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.  In their mouth is found no deceit, as they are without fault before the Throne of God.

Then an Angel came in the midst of Heaven, having the everlasting message to show them that dwell on the Land, and the whole nation of the kindred of tongue.  The Angel said with a loud Voice, “Reverence God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His Judgment is come: and worship Him that made Heaven, and Earth, and the sea, and the fountains of Living Waters.”

Then there followed another Angel, saying, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen away from God, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

Another Angel followed, saying with a loud Voice, “If anyone worships the Beast and his image, and receive his mark in their mind, or in their hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the Wrath of God, which is poured out without mixer into the cup of His Indignation; and they shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the Holy Angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascends up forever and ever: and they have no rest day or night, those who worship the Beast and his image, and whoever receives the Mark of his name.  Here is the patience of the Elect (those 144,000): here are they that keep the Commandments of God, and the Faith/Truth of Jesus/Y’hoshua.”  Then there was a Voice from Heaven saying, “Write: Blessed are they which die as the Lord from henceforth.”

And there was a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sitting like the Son of Adam, having on his head a golden Crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle ready to harvest.  Then an Angel came, crying with a loud Voice to him that sat on the cloud, “Thrust in your sickle, and reap: for the time is come for you to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.”  And he that was sitting on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.  And another Angel came, also having a sharp sickle, and was told, “Thrust in your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the Vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.”  The Angel then thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the Vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the Wrath of God.

There was another sign in Heaven, great and marvelous, Seven Messages having the seven last plagues; for in them is the conclusion of the Wrath of God.  And there was a sea of glass mingled with Fire: and them that had gotten victory (νίκη/nikaō) over the Beast, and over his image, and over his Mark, and over the numbering of their name.  And those that obtained victory sing the Song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of that Lamb on Zion, saying, “Great and marvelous are Your Works, LORD God Almighty; just and true are Your Ways, You King of the Elect!”

So, from the beginning all the way to the end, God has had the same mission for those of Heaven – sing a Song that makes the Remnant change their tune – and we’re here to do exactly that!
