“Proclaim Liberty thro’ all the Land to all the Inhabitants thereof…”
This proclamation is etched on what is known as the “symbol of American Independence” – the Liberty Bell housed in Philadelphia, the City of “Brotherly Love.” But where does this saying come from?
It is a quote from Biblical Scripture, Leviticus 25:10 pertaining to the Jubilee called for by God after He brought the House of Israel out of their oppression in Egypt…
Exodus from Egypt
“For the LORD our God, it is He that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:” Josh 24:17
The Days of Elijah, by Paul Wilbur
…and gave us His Laws and Commandments. He told Moses to say to the House of Israel:
“You shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a Jubilee to you; and you shall return every man to his possession, and you shall return every man to his family. A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be to you: …. it is the jubilee; it shall be holy to you… In the year of this jubilee you shall return every man to his possession.”
Covenant with Abraham
God made a Covenant with our father, Abraham, that extends to his seed for an “everlasting Covenant” with a promise to those who will keep that Covenant to be given the “Promised Land,” a land that “flows with milk and honey” for an “everlasting possession; and I will be their God. And God said to Abraham, You shall keep My covenant therefore, you, and your seed after you in their generations.” Gen 17:7-9
When the trumpet of the “Jubilee” sounds, that’s the time when that Covenant is to be kept with a return to that “family” and that “possession.”
The Hebrew word ‘jubile’ means ‘a joyful sound,’ the ‘sound of a trumpet,’ or a ‘trumpet signal’
Blow the Trumpet in Zion
The Prophet Joel says this: “Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My Holy Mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the Day of the LORD is here, it is near at hand…” (2:1)
In the New Testament Jesus said this: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord... And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him… And he began to say to them, ‘This day this Scripture is fulfilled in your ears.’” Luke 4:18-21
He was quoting the Prophet Isaiah who says this: “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings to the meek; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison (salvation from sin) to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the Day of Vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn…” Isa 61:1-3
When we look to Leviticus 25:9 it reads, “Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.”
From this we see there is “an acceptable year of the LORD” to come in which to proclaim “liberty to the captives.” That is the “Year of Jubilee!” which is also to announce the “Day of the LORD,” and the “Day of Atonement” when the “eyes of the blind shall be opened” and iniquity will be pardoned. Also known as Succoth or Sukkot (Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, and the Feast of Tabernacles). Sometimes also known as the Feast of Harvest or the Ingathering. All the above! Many think a return to the physical City of Jerusalem in the Middle East is required to keep these feasts or “Holy Days of God,” but they are in error. They don’t know about New Jerusalem or Mount Zion, a “mountain that can’t be touched.”
Keeping in mind what it says in Hebrews: “For the Law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things spoken of..,” Heb 10:1
Now you may or may not know that the word, September, although it is the ninth month in the Roman Gregorian calendar, is from septem, meaning ‘seven.’ As the Hebrew calendar starts in the Spring with Passover, the seventh month would be September, which is also the time of the firstfruits and the ingathering of the harvest. In Hebrew it is the month called Tishri which starts on September 19th, the Autumnal Equinox and is celebrated as Rosh Hashana, or the (civil) New Year but also is the seventh month of the ecclesiastical year.
Come up to Zion for the Ingathering
Barnabus says in Hebrews: “For you are not come to the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire… And the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words; which voice they that heard asked that the Word should not be spoken to them any more… But you are come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels. To the general assembly and church/congregation of the firstborn (or firstfruits), which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect.” Heb 12:18-23
Jesus said pertaining to the ‘signs of the end’: “In the midst of the tribulation of those days the Sun shall be darkened and the Moon shall not give its Light, …And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Adam in heaven: and … they shall see the Son of Adam coming in the clouds of heaven with power/authority and great glory. And he shall send his angels/messengers with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His Elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” (Matt 24:29-31) That means he will send forth a message to alert those who will hearken to the time at hand!
Fall Feasts – Great Signs of Indication
And in Luke 21, pertaining to the “signs of the end,”“He said to them, ‘Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and there shall be great signs from heaven.’” Luke 21:10-11
Last month, on the 21st day of August, we saw a great sign in the heavens, a total eclipse of the Sun which went from one end of America to the other, where the Sun was darkened and the Moon did not give its Light, but we could see it outlined in the corona or throne of the Sun. A grand fulfillment of Amos 8:9, as explained in “On Earth as it is in Heaven.”
There are other signs scheduled in heaven for this seventh month of Tishri, which is the month of the “Fall Feasts.” Listen carefully for the “trumpet” blast proclaiming the exciting time shortly to come when we can say, “This day this Scripture is fulfilled in your ears.”
9/18 – Beginning at dawn on Moonday as a herald, you’ll see the waning crescent Moon and the planet Venus together in the constellation of Leo, the last constellation of the Zodiac. Here it can be said that Venus is as “a woman clothed in the Sun with the Moon at her feet.” The Moon will then be 29 days old. “Judah is a lion’s whelp: …The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until he whose right it is has come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.” Gen 49:9-10 And: “Don’t weep,: behold, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah has prevailed to open the book…” Rev 5:5
9/19 – The Sun and Moon will be together, so we won’t be able to see the Moon at all.
9/20 – The evening of the 20th begins Rosh Hashana or the Hebrew New Year which designates the first day of the seventh month called Tishri. Till the evening of the 22nd.
9/22 – The evening is the Autumnal equinox. Also the New Moon.
9/23 & 24 – The Sun will be in Virgo with the Moon at her feet while it slips precisely into the Judgment scales of Libra on the 24th. Virgo is the first constellation of the zodiac.
It is described quite accurately in Revelation 12:
“And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried… And she brought forth a man child, who is to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.” Rev 12:1-6
“And trouble shall seize them, when they shall behold this Son of woman sitting upon the throne of his glory.” Enoch 61:9
“And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he has on his vesture and on his thigh a Name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” Rev 19:15-16
“And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his Elect, To execute judgment upon all, and to convict all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed…” Jude 14-15
Here we see the woman, Virgo, clothed with the Sun and the Moon, “The Son of Woman” under her feet squarely in the scales of Judgment, Libra on September 24th 2017. Who does this woman represent and what about the twelve stars? She is Zion! And the stars are the Twelve Tribes of the House of Israel. As God told Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that their seed would become “as the stars of heaven.” (Gen 15:5; Rev 7)
9 x 24 = 216 — The diameter of the Moon is 2,160 miles!
2,160 x 12 = 25,920 years = “The Great Year” — One complete cycle of equinoxes
We see a line-up of Venus, Mars, Mercury, the Sun, Jupiter and the Moon. Quite a “harmonic convergence”! You can also see Hydra in the picture representing the Dragon.
Some are saying this only happens every 7,000 years while others are saying it happens about once a year, others are saying it’s September 23rd which will be: a) the end of the world; b) rapture; c) when Nibiru will hit the earth; d) when Christ will return, and who knows what else. It doesn’t matter what they say, it’s all their vain imagination, nothing will happen except those who have “ears to hear” will hear the sound of the Trumpet being blown to call the Ingathering of the Elect of God to His Holy Mountain, Zion, to learn of Him, His Law, what His Prophets have said, and what’s required to keep the Covenant.
Come Let Us Go Up to Zion, by Paul Wilbur
Assembly on Zion
“And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s Name written in their foreheads/minds. And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: And they sing as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures, and the elders: and no man can learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which are redeemed from the earth. These are they which are not defiled with women (Rev 17:1-5); for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb wheresoever he goes. These are redeemed from among men, being the Firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth is found no guile (deceit): for they are without fault before the throne of God.” Rev 14:1-5
“And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.” Rev 17:4
“Then Jesus said to those which believe on/trust in him, If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed; And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31-32
“Blow the trumpet in the New Moon, in the appointed time, on our solemn feast day. For this is a statute for Israel, and a Law of the God of Jacob. This He ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt… You called in trouble/tribulation and I delivered you …Hear, O My people, and I will testify unto you: O Israel, if you will hearken unto Me; There shall no strange god be in you; neither shall you worship any strange god. I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt: open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.” Psalm 81:3-10
“Comfort ye, comfort ye My people, saith your God… cry unto her that her iniquity is pardoned…” Isa 40:1-5
Day of the LORD; Day of Judgment
Isa 66:22-24 “For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before Me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one New Moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before Me, saith the LORD. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against Me: … and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. “
“Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail, Saying, When will the New Moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the Sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit? That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yes, and sell them the refuse of the food? The LORD has sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works. Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwells therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt. And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the Sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day: And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; …and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day. Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:” Amos 8:4-11
The Trumpet Shall Sound…
Don’t be left behind without God’s Word. Hearken to the sound of the Trumpet warning, turn to the LORD your God and seek His Face while He may be found. Isa 55
“…He will send his angels/messengers with a great sound of a trumpet… And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws near… So likewise, when you see these things come to pass, you know that the kingdom of God is near at hand. Truly I say to you, This generation shall not pass away, till all is fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words will not pass away. And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day comes upon you in unawareness. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Adam.” -Jesus (Matt 24; Luke 21:28-36)
