Prophecy Monthly – January 2024

January was a month dominated by hypocrisies. At the top of the list is the State of Israel. They were once the victims of the holocaust genocide, yet now they have been taken to court under the accusation of doing the very same thing. From there we look at a group trying to ‘rebuild trust’ yet turning to artificial intelligence to do so as well as celibate priests teaching about sex. There is no shortage of hypocrisies in the news from this past month.

The following map is a summary of current events related to prophecy. Below the map you will find the event details and relevant Scriptural references. Many people have been taught God’s Word in the past tense. This is incorrect. The teachings and scenarios in the Bible and God’s Word are all prophetic, pointing to a future time, and that time is now.

Genocide by Israel

January 27th was International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Survivors of the Holocaust marked the 79th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, one of the most notorious Nazi death camps of World War II, on this day. But that’s not all that happened.

For a little history, the word genocide was coined by Raphael Lemkin who petitioned for an international law to outlaw ‘systematic destruction of any national, ethnic, racial or religious group.’ His efforts led to the UN’s 1948 approval of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide. Israel signed the convention in 1951 as did 152 other countries. Now, 76 years later, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the International Court of Justice issued an emergency ruling that ordered Israel to ‘prevent genocide in Gaza’ but stopped ‘short of ordering a cease-fire.’ The court also ‘called on Hamas to release the hostages who are still in captivity.’ The Convention to prevent genocide has come full circle in this emergency order against Israel.

‘Just War’

The State of Israel isn’t the only glaring hypocrite on this Holocaust Remembrance Day. The Pope came out to say ‘war can never be justified’ while representing the religious organization that came up with the term ‘just war’ to justify their own genocidal atrocities. The Roman Catholic Church murdered millions during the inquisitions and crusades. Saint Augustine is credited with the belief that in the pursuit of peace, fighting was an option. None of this is in line with God’s Word and in fact exposes anyone with a belief that the ‘ends justify the means’ as one in complete darkness regarding God’s Word.

Australia Day turning into ‘Invasion Day’

Similar to the backlash against Columbus Day in the United States and the newly inaugurated Indigenous Peoples Day, Australia is looking at their history and protesting Australia Day, held on January 26th, the anniversary of the 1788 start of British colonization. Many are now calling this national holiday ‘Invasion Day’ in protest to the crimes committed against their indigenous people. Similar to Columbus and his fellow travelers who found a land full of people, yet claimed it for their own, the British found the land ‘unoccupied’ despite the presence of the indigenous population.

‘Celibates’ teach about sex

The largest organization of supposedly celibate priests are continuously focused on sex. Their focus is not looking inward regarding how they’ve decided not to have any sex, instead they are telling everyone else what they should do in their sex lives. How can they speak on a subject they adamantly know nothing about?

Cardinal Fernandez, the Vatican’s head over the ‘Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith’, made news in January over a previously published book that ‘graphically describe orgasms’, a book he wrote in 1998. This isn’t the only book he published on a subject a celibate would be ‘out of touch’ with. He also wrote ‘Heal Me With Your Mouth. The Art of Kissing’ as a collaborative book he wrote with input from teenagers! Considering the extensive pedophilia rampant throughout the entire Roman Catholic Church, these books look more like ‘grooming tools’ for potential victims than anything else.

“For they that are after the flesh[ly mindset] do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit[ual mindset] the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the Law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh[ly mindset] cannot please God.”

The Disinformation of Davos

The annual gathering of world leaders and corporate big-wigs was held in Davos Switzerland this January. The 54th annual gathering of the World Economic Forum or WEF was titled ‘Rebuilding Trust’ and focused on ‘the fundamental principles driving trust, including transparency, consistency and accountability.’ Keep in mind, the main purpose of this meeting is the World’s Economy so finances are the driver for any policies that will come out of this gathering.

One of the key speakers, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, started a speech to the group by stating, ‘the top concern for the next two years is not conflict or climate, it is disinformation and misinformation, followed closely by polarization within our societies.’ She continued, ‘This is a time to drive global collaboration more that ever before. This requires immediate and structural responses to match the size of the global challenges.’

Later on in her speech she addressed artificial intelligence (AI) saying ‘Our future competitiveness depends on AI adoption in our daily business…’ But wait, isn’t AI just that… artificial?! Something that is artificial is ‘an imitation of something natural’ but also ‘contrived’ or ‘insincere’ according to the American Heritage Dictionary. If the world is going to depend on contrived or insincere intelligence isn’t that another way of saying misinformation or disinformation?! Many have come to that conclusion!

Remember, last month we covered the and The Cambridge Dictionary word of the year for 2023. It was ‘hallucinate‘ specifically referring to the definition associated with artificial intelligence meaning: ‘to produce false information contrary to the intent of the user and present it as if true and factual.’

Ursula von der Leyen’s speech to Davos in full’s word of the year

“But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But you, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness.”

1 Timothy 6:9-11

Idol Worship

Museums, like many temples, are full of idols. The curators have gathered idols and artifacts from cultures all around the world. Now, some of those cultures are asking to have those artifacts back or in one case, a mayor from Katmandu petitioned to have his ‘god’ back.

The Dallas Museum of Art held a statue of ‘gods’ Laxni and Narayan from Nepal. Adhikari, the mayor from Kathmandu petitioned for the return of the idols, stating ‘Our god was locked inside a museum in the US.’ That should make one stop and ask, ‘What kind of god is that?’ If it can not get itself out of the museum, how could it possible do anything for those who worship it? This is exactly what God, the Creator, has been saying all along. People worship idols made by their own hands, instead of Him, the Creator of all things.

Another spectacle of idol worship occurred in India. Just this month a new Hindu temple was inaugurated in Ayodhya, an Indian town that is undergoing a $3Billion investment to become the ‘Vatican’ of the Hindu world. There is much controversy surrounding this temple as it was formally the site of a mosque that was torn to the ground in the 1990’s during riots that killed thousand of Muslims.

The Indian Prime Minister, Modi, took part in the official consecration ceremonies including the ‘prana pratishtha’ which is when the Hindu deity Ram or Rama enters into and abides in the icon. Some have compared this ritual to the transubstantiation of Catholicism when the Eucharist bread and wine supposedly becomes Jesus’s body and blood. None of this is real. All of it is artificial, one could even call it artificial intelligence in its original form!

AI ‘Cults’

The blending of modern day artificial intelligence with idols or in this case robots has already started. A ‘priest’ robot called Mindar resides in a Buddhist temple in Japan where it recites mantras to pilgrims. But this isn’t the only AI driven church.

In 2015 a church called ‘The Way of the Future’ was founded with the goal of ‘building a new God with ‘Christian morals’ using artificial intelligence.’ In 2011 the Turing Church was founded by a former Google engineer. He wrote, “Even more God-like beings operate in the fabric of reality underneath spacetime, or beyond spacetime, and control the universe… Future science will allow us to find them, and become like them…. Our descendants in the far future will join the community of God-like beings among the stars and beyond, and use transcendent ‘divine’ technology to resurrect the dead and remake the universe.” What do they think the actual God, the Creator thinks about this?

Wars and Rumors of Wars

Israel-Hamas War

The Israel-Hamas War continues. There are now over 25,000 people that have been killed in Gaza and violence in the West Bank is escalating. As raids in the West Bank escalate, one resident stated ‘we’ve never seen anything like this before.’

Those who are ‘living’ in Gaza face disease and famine in addition to war. Support for Israel continues to wane even within Jewish groups. Some citizens have chosen prison instead of serving in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) with one stating ‘More killing won’t bring back lost lives.’ Meanwhile, Mike Pence made a visit to Israel and took time to sign his name on bombs destined for Lebanon, part of the escalation of fighting in the Middle East.

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear/listen, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man is not the righteousness of God.”

Middle East Military Escalations

Meanwhile, the US and UK continue to strike targets in Yemen and Iraq. Three US servicemen were killed triggering further escalation in the region. In a sign of expected long-term battles, the US has approved a $23 billion sale of F-16’s to Turkey.

Isaiah 2:2-4

“And the king (leader) shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself… But in his estate (place) shall he honor the god of forces (weapons): and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.”

Daniel 11:36-38

“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that does good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulcher; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

Romans 3:10-18

Ukraine-Russian War

The Ukraine-Russian war is still at a stalemate. One aspect of this war is that the solders are not necessarily from their respective countries. For example, Nepal has now banned citizens from obtaining work permits to these two countries due to the number of people who have traveled there, often under the guise of non-military employment, only to enter into that country’s military. Nepal has decided too many of their citizens have either died or gone missing.

Meanwhile, several countries from the European Union are concerned that commitments made to Ukraine for ammunition deliveries are falling short. One reason for concern over a lack of ammunition could be related to the ‘arms fraud’ being carried out in Ukraine. Some are asking if supplies intended for Ukraine have been diverted to the black market. A Pentagon report acknowledged that 40,000 weapons worth an estimated $1 Billion cannot be accounted for. They cannot confirm where these weapons are so they could be in Ukraine, or as one US retired Colonel put it:

‘… there’s no evidence that they’ve (the weapons) actually been diverted, but there’s vulnerability there. And with that vulnerability comes what I call a nightmare scenario. That is that one of these weapons, say a Javelin anti-tank weapon, shows up in the Gaza Strip because it was diverted.’

US retired Colonel Mark Cancian

Meanwhile, Ukraine arrested five people and accused them of stealing $40 Million allocated for purchasing weapons.

Protests have continued both in support of the War in Gaza and calling for a cease-fire in Gaza. Even Biden’s own employees are turning on him for his support of the Israel-Hamas War. Many took part in a fast in protest. In Australia, protesters have taken to the streets for fifteen straight weeks to voice opposition to the Israel-Hamas War. Support for Netanyahu continues to dwindle. Israel’s supreme court ended his judicial overhaul laws, which brought thousands of Israeli’s to protest against him before the war began.

Meanwhile, in Papua New Guinea protests against public servant pay cuts turned to riots and looting, leaving 16 people dead. A 14-day state of emergency was declared and solders were put on standby.

Farmer Protests

In Europe protests from farmers brought tractors to the big cities in Germany, France, Italy and Brussels. The farmers were protesting for better prices for their produce and less bureaucracy. Extreme Weather

Solar Weather

There were over 25 M-class solar flares in January, making it a very active month. On January 23rd there was a strong double solar flare from two sunspots in opposite hemispheres of the Sun. This is a rare occurrence, and it is believed that solar flares, even though they are far apart from each other, are still linked by magnetic loops in the sun. The Sun’s activity directly impacts earth often in the form of earthquakes, volcanoes and radiation levels.

Earthquakes & Volcanoes

There were a significant number of strong earthquakes in January with a 7.6 magnitude quake in Japan and a 7.0 magnitude quake on the China-Kyrgyzstan border. Over 100 people did not survive these quakes. There were also 10 earthquakes of a magnitude of 6 or more. That’s a lot of shaking!

Throughout the world, floods and winter storms caused significant damage. In San Diego record levels of rain brought flash floods onto the community and into homes. A winter storm that impacted a large portion of the United States left nearly 1 million people without power, buried parts of the Midwest in up to 10 inches of snow and spawned 23 tornadoes in the South. At least 43 people were killed from these winter storms.

Outside of the US, a landslide in China killed at least 31 people, whether from the landslide or from the freezing weather. In Colombia a mudslide took the lives of 34 people.

Re: AI gods
Gen 3:4-6 “The serpent said to the woman, ‘You shall not surely die: For God does know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.’ And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her and he did eat.”

Gospel of Philip :70 “…The tree whose fruit Adam ate is the Tree of Knowledge. That is why sins increased. … For in the beginning, God created man. But now men create God. That is the way it is in the world–men make gods and worship their creation. It would be more fitting for the gods to worship men!”

This is a perfect example of the arrogance of man – He thinks he can create something better than God Almighty already has! He manifests that he is relative to the serpent from the beginning! It’s amazing that people are actually bowing down to these things, just like they do to the idols in their churches.

Thank you for these great articles you put out every month! They are so informative!
